The Hostess is absolutely amazing. I have never experienced such overwhelming hospitality and friendship from a stanger. I stayed in Arista Guesthouse for a minor medical procedure. Svetlana took me to hospital and came to fetch me again. She wouldn't hear of it that I can use a taxi to and from hospital. I defenitely made a lifelong friend. -

We arrived at Lion's Rock not knowing what to expect as the internet

Lionsrock is highly specific in what it is and what it does. For that reason it is a very interesting place to visit - for a day or so. It is a little inaccisible vis-a-vis other attractions around the eastern Free State, reinforcing the need for a short visit. Staff and facilities are good for a 3-star establishment.

In their beautiful garden peace and tranquility are easily restored to you. the walks in picturesque Ladybrand were invigorating to say the least. The staff made us feel so special and no request was too much effort. Everybody was friendly and very helpful. When I exit the door with bags in my hands, the guy at reception, literally ran to open the door for me. The complimentary coffee in the morning was also a delight. -

This a great spot to stay at in Bloemfontein as stop-over. The rooms are adequate size for an overnight stay, with an interesting design. It was comfortable and quiet. Save parking outside. And all this for a great price.
