The rooms are stunning and really tastefully decked out and it's well situated for central Cape Town and the VandA shopping centre. It's the nicest place we've ever stayed and we will definitely go back if we can!

The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful, always smiling, and solicitous without being in your face. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choices and value for money; use of the business centre at no extra cost was a godsend - see wi-fi
The entrance/lobby very spacious and felt homely. I would definitely stay at the Portswood again

Colazione, SPA - This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. The rooms and service is very good. The location of the hotel is good and the use of the free shuttle to the Vand A water front is very useful. If you get a good rate this is the hotel to stay in.

First class luxury at a reasonable price. All four of us agreed this was the best hotel we ever stayed at. Our two-bedroom suite with living area was more spacious than we needed but we loved the separate bedrooms and large kitchen. The staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly, the hotel is almost a B&B but with private facilities, easy to walk to most in town attractions, excellent breakfast very good and convenient before the start to the day, good connection to WIFI.
