This is an excellent hotel to stay at if you want to watch the Southern Right Whales off the South African coast. It is within easy access of Hermanus town centre. Good breakfast in a pleasant environment. -

The Auberge was really lovely, the rooms were clean and cofortable with wonderful views - the situation perfect, right on the front, the staff friendly and helpful and the restaurant across the road was perfect, so cosy with friendly, efficient staff and excellent tasty food. unfortunately it rained whilst we were there but it didn't dampen our spirits, we had a great time and to crown it all, there was a real log fire in the lounge, with a free glass of port before bed - lovely!!

Very friendly and helpful owner that gave us lots of helpful advice. It's only a short stroll to the beach and the shops and restaurants. Bright and modern rooms, we even had a jacuzzi in our room. A shared kitchen and living room is available. -

The Windsor Hotel was the perfect location. It was close to all amenities and we could view the whales from our room. We had to leave early on Sunday morning and at 04h30 the night watchman let us out and gave us our packed breakfasts which were wonderful. Newly built hotel and very modern and clean. The hotel is actually apartments in a shopping mall which makes it safe (on top of a permanent person at the reception).
Staff is helpful and friendly helping you out with any query (restaurant reco and booking, day trips,etc).
