This hotel lived up to all our expectations and more. We arrived at 10.30am and expected to just leave our luggage, but we were given our room straight away. All the staff were very accommodating and the room was very pleasant. The road was bellow our room but we did not hear any noise at all. A lovely big bath was a treat. We had to leave early f

The staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly, the hotel is almost a B&B but with private facilities, easy to walk to most in town attractions, excellent breakfast very good and convenient before the start to the day, good connection to WIFI. They also have a good network of local experts if you are looking for a guide (ask for Domingo)

A hotel like a garden of relaxation right at the bottom of Cape Town's stunning table mountain.

I have stay at this hotel each year for a week for business. I noticed this time that the same staff are still working there. I think this says a lot about staff turnover. The staff are very positive always happy to hep, nothing is ever to hard. I had an issue with a pick up being late and it was dealt with quickly and the transport manager was waiting for me to apologise for the error. This hotel is a beautiful place and when you are here you are treated as family, a pleasure staying

I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. We arrived in Cape Town and had no where to stay and 51 on Forrest Drive where efficient and made our booking quickly and timeously and we were never disturbed when we were there and the food was delicious!
