Hotel was nice and clean
I was charged too much and I told this when I was paying. The lady in the reception did not beive me and now I' have been waiting for the return of one nigt pay for over three weeks. They are promising to return the mone but nothing happens. The amount is over 565 € so it's not a small amount we are talking about. Taj wants to be a five star hotel but I think that this is rubish and the way they are handeling this case is extremely poor and under avarage.
Everything was great, from the service from the concierge to the greeting at breakfast. Very welcoming and luxurious.
Loved the plush room with generous bathroom and the in-house Bombay Brasserie Restaurant which served excellent Indian dishes.
Although I had a room on the 6th floor there was no view other than onto offices ...

Did not like that there was no parking area and we had to make use of the valet service which sometimes caused a delay

Only improvement I would wish for would be stronger coffee at breakfast. The meal, however, was as good as the superb accommodation.

As we enter the h Taj for checking in, we cudn't feel that we have entered the five star premises , the entrance was very basic but as we entered the room, our jaw dropped wow, it was excellent .Very nice spacious room, big bathroom, but view was not good.we were alloted superior king room on 8th floor.
We didnt liked house keeping service. A house keeping guy entered our room with his spare key, in the middle of the night, and asked us if the room needs any cleaning service. And they also didnt replace the half used toiletry like shampoo, lotion. They takes 45 min to bring water to the room with minimum 2 reminders all the time.
Attention to detail and service is quite obviously the Taj's highest priority. Make sure you dine in any one of the restaurants - the food was exceptional. What the Taj offers, as a standard practice, you would have to pay a premium for anywhere else.
We stayed over a weekend, and so there weren't many places that were open, within walking distance.

Only blight was the wi-fi. this could be so much better. I'd be happy to pay for high speed internet.
Dining facilities, internet was great.
Check in was slow and I was unable to get into my room until 2pm. Housekeeping is very slow.

We enjoyed spa treatments and a lovely diner at Bombay Brassorie. We were given a upgrade from our room to a suite because of it being our 10yr wedding anniversary celebration and a complementary course by your chef. We were very impressed by all staff and attention to detail. Thank you

Although the rooms & bathrooms are amazing but the shower is not well treated engineering wise as it throw water out .. But no ya big problem

We have stayed in high quality hotels literally all over the world : this ranks among teh very best hotels we have ever stayed in. Literally everything they do, they do extremely well. The staff seem to recall the name of every guest - feels just like "going home". Outstanding.

Well...I really was impressed with my room. The decoration, very sofesticated and with a lot of space. I liked the staff, very helpfull, the breakfast very good.The Hotel is in the centre so, well situated, you can go walking, there is a coffee shop, where you can seat and read a magazine.
A true 5* property with 5* service. There wasn't anything to fault. The room and view was amazing. Dinner in the Bombay Brasserie and breakfast in Mint were both exceptional. And always received the service with a genuine smile.
Staff were amazing. Rooms are new, modern and luxurious. Great breakfast and indoor pool. Also chauffeur service and concierge are great.

Lunch in Mint restaurant mediocre. Breakfast not very good. Housekeeping a joke! Had room service both nights, prompt delivery but food again, mediocre and we were served instant potato.....in a 5 star hotel!!! Would not stay at the Taj again.

The staff are outstanding and committed to first class service. There is attention to detail throughout the hotel. The hotel is superb and I find it difficult to fault anything. The Mint restaurant was brilliant and one member of staff was outstanding - her name was Faith. The Tower Suite rooms are superb and worth the extra money.

The atmosphere
The staff and hotel are wonderful. Breakfast is very varied, but make sure you ask about what South Indian hot food options they have for breakfast. They'll never volunteer the information, but it's very good once you do order it! The free valet parking is incredibly convenient.

reception - not cordial & showed very little effort in making the guest feel welcome.some were ok but for a few white receptionists needs to be given some lesson on public relations.

I loved the convenience of the location. Professional staff. The heritage and design/architecture of the Taj hotel. The service and experience was equal to my experience at the Taj Palace in Mumbai.
Booking a table at the Bombay Brassiere proved difficult even though we were hotel guests. We did get a table eventually and found it strange that there were tables available throughout the evening.
