The hotel is situated very centrally at a walking distance from sights and metro stops. The interior is beautiful, the paintings in passages and rooms a nice touch. My single room was smallish but not at all claustrophobic. The bed was really comfortable with luxurious bedclothes. The bathroom was spacious, of gleaming marble and like the room and all the spaces I saw, really clean and fresh. The toiletries were of good quality, too. It is a very worthy hotel. Nice, clean, neat, 5 min by feet to the nearest metro station. Breakfast is good (coffee, tea,milk, hot and cold starters, english toasts, juices). Its comfortable little space, clean, with friendly staff. Location is perfect for those who have business in the center district of the city. You can live in a typical St.Petrsburg apartment house, which is an interesting experience. I like it very much. -

The otel design is unique. Paintings everywhere is a very good idea. Staff is friendly. Location is perfect, just near to the Kazan Kathedral, every important place of St.Pet. is on a wailikng distance and Nevski Street is nearby. Contrary to some negative comments, my room was silent. Perfect cost/quality ratio, good place going to St.Pet as 1-2 people

The friendly and helpful staff, clean, fairly new renovation, a kettle, microwave, air conditioning, a small work table and dining table (we had a superior room), conveniently located (5 minutes walk to the bridge Anechkova), quite a decent breakfast, there is even book for those who want to read :). Fully justifies its price.
