  We were in Moscow for the World Athletics Championsip, so the hotel was ideally located for travel to the Luzhniki Stadium, but we were also within easy walking distance of Red Square and Gorky Park, and other sightseeing opportunities, with Metro stations close by. We also had a fridge which was very useful for storing drinks and food. There was a water dispenser on the ground floor, so - Really great hotel. Great location in the center of Moscow - 10 minute walk to subway, another 5 to Gorkiy Park, 10-15 minutes walk to Arbat. Restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Nice variety of food for breakfast. Friendly staff. Huge room with bedroom and office. Free WIFI, fridge -everything you need for a nice stay. On the checkout we received discount because we booked the night but left late at the evening. It was great surprise - most of the hotels do not refund in this case.

  This is a great hotel to stay at the city center, within a nice surrounding and 10 min. walking distance to metro station, making it easy to reach every part of the city quickly. As Mr. Balmont (a descendant of an old family of Russian aristocrats) puts it: "I strive for excellence, for my name is on the line." Constantin -the owner - was very polite and his hospitality made us feel very comfortable. The entrance is bad but don't give any attention at it. You ll enjoy every minute in that renovated flat. Very warm and clean. Close to smalenskaya metro station(light blue) and Arbat street. Only three stops to the center and Kremlin. I recommend it.

With respect to location it is one of the best hotels you can find in Moscow, being a five minute walk from the Kremlin entrance.
