The staff were very friendly. Our unit and the Caravan Park generally were very modern and clean. It was just out of town near the Shotover Jet Boat Ride. We liked being just out of town and away from the busyness of the main street.
Facilites, cleaness, heaps of space, comfortable bed and cabin,good
showers and friendly staff.. We rated it 10/10. excellent on

Simple accommodation on a tight budget. We stayed in the Rata Lodge. The room was minimal but comfortable with an ensuite shower and toilet.
Large, clean, very comfortable one bedroom motel/style apartment. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfy lounge and separate dining area.
We chose our room for the price. They had a cancelation so they upgraded us. We appreciated that.
Fabulous, luxurious feel, extremely clean and fantastic personal space.
Did not want to leave!.
Location good for those wanting to be somewhere quieter than Queenstown.

The location is beautiful.
Genius designed auto 60min shut down heater, super distant from bathroom
and toilet, crowded room, difficulty to shop.
The room was a bit stuffy on warmer nights and there was only one very heavy down doona that left us boiling. But we didn't ask for a lighter one, I'm sure they would have been accommodating if we did.
Large skylight over bed - allowed too much early morning light in!.

Nuisance not having kitchen items available for use. Needed to pay $5 + $20 bond for a supply of crockery cutlery and pans. This doesn't work when you need to depart early in the morning as the office isn't open to return your deposit Ideally a few items should be available for communal use but understand that it's likely things will get taken Would have been helpful to know about this in advance so we could have taken kitchen items ourselves.
Not being able to get a refund on the night we didn't stay there. We had to change our flights and forgot to inform that we didn't need to stay the last night. I have been told we would get a refund if they were able to re-let the unit, but we haven't heard anything since!!.
Staff was not very nice. Felt very down as a paying customer.

thee only thing that didn't like was you had to walk over to toilets and we had older family with us,we thought we had booked a motel.all learning game.our 1st time booking on line.
it's more suitable for campers and RV. back packers like us would find it little inconvenient compared to a backpackers place. the toilet and kitchen is not near. one has to walk outside access it. kitchen utensils are limited.
I was really shocked at not having a sink, the pillows were very poor,
the manager rude patronising and almost abusive.
Nzd 5 for kitchen supplies and have to bring everything to the reception
for check-up before getting back the deposit!!!.
The cabin was cold. Not enough blankets. No proper heating. Cold bathroom.
Fire alarm (falsh) went off at 6am and no staff around to help out.
Being rudely awoken by cleaner opening the door to our room at 10.30 and
being shouted at "you arrived early (11.30 ) check out is at 10am
so I would appreciate it if you would get up " ???????? We were
completely shocked and lost for words ! Never going back.

Great place to stay over the winter! That is if you like freeze to death
in midnight going to toilet, mine was about 20meter from my cottage. Or
if you like to wake up every hour to make sure your heater is still on.
And please be reminded to prepare extra $5 for kitchen supplies.
Advise you to pay a $15 more to get a warm room with shared kitchen supplies in a lot better location.
Truly offended by the $5 kitchen utensils and the distant room given to us.
