Cosa dice la gente
Quiet and perfectly located near the park. Got excellent tips from our host, Angus, about the sights, traffic and attractions. He even made dinner reservation for us at a nearby excellent restaurant. The apt. was spacious and cozy for 3 of us, with a washing machine available. Important for the next phase of travel. Would love to visit Christchurch again.
The owner Angus went out of his way to make us feel comfortable nothing was a problem, help us with a great problem lost my phone at Fox Glazier found and posted to him which was not a problem to forward it on to us. Got my phone with in a few day which was much appreciated, other things in the room are being posted to us thank you Angus up the Warriors. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
All except which I didn't like ;)
Specially, the manager was really friendly. I stayed in three hotels in all over New Zealand (Christchurch, Omara and Picton) and Angus was the best :)
The location of the motel was good too. Not too far from the city center, yet far enough from the crowd!.
Well organised, we arrived late but the owner had everything prepared for us. Very friendly reception. Very clean motel unit, very quiet location and handy location. I would stay there happily again and can recommend this place to anybody without hesitation. Thank you. Josef.
Very handy for city centre, arterial routes and CBS Arena. Situated on side road and units well back from road so very peaceful. While some items could be more modern the chairs couch and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for cooking meals. Very clean.
Close to city (a pleasant walk through Hagley Park or short bus ride). A very quiet location opening onto a courtyard with lovely gardens. Plenty of restaurants close by and walking distance to Riccarton Mall.
We would definitely stay here again.
Excellent location in walking distance of Hagley Park, Botanical gardens and through to centre of town. On a quiet side street but handy to restaurants, friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable units.
Great location to parks, shops ,restaurants etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. And the room was very comfortable and big too! Would definitely choose to stay here again next time we go to CHCH.
The manager Angus was very friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble for him, can highly recommend staying at Hagley Park Motel

very convenient location for airport, gardens and town, and easy to find.
Roomy and quiet, well equipped kitchen, having a phone and washing machine in the unit was a bonus plus unlimited wifi.
The man who looked after us was lovely and so helpful showing us where to eat out etc and booking us a taxi for early morning flight. So close to restaurants walk everywhere.
The location is strategic as it is close to the city & the University of Otago, Christchurch. It has most of the facilities like kitchen, laundry, dryer, fridge, etc.
The accommodation was excellent value and I would rebook with confidence. Quiet location is a plus and Unit 10 ideal for respite from heat of summer in Christchurch.
Well maintained but oldish motel. Spacious with good self-catering facilities. Close to Riccarton shops and restaurants. Quite close to CBD.
Nice and roomy. Very handy restaurants (2) at the end of the road in easy walking distance. Great value for commercial travellers.
Friendly welcome great restaurant advice.
Fantastic accommodation for us with our three kids! Private clean and comfortable.
Angus was very helpful and our stay was excellent. Rooms were clean and location very quiet. Booked again for next year.
Staff friendly and units clean. Motel was just off main road and while in a good location was away from the noise.
the people where very nice, it was close to where we had to go and the room was lovely, all round very nice stay.
Friendly & helpful manager and staff
Offering advice
Well appointed, clean room
Good central location.
Within walking distance of City and restaurants were nearby. Manager very helpful.
The room was spacious and there was a kitchenette. Had a small, private courtyard.
The motel was very convenient and Angus was very friendly and approachable.
Great location and good size rooms the kitchen in the unit was great.
plenty of space for a good price , comfortable ,.
Friendly welcome and very accommodating.
Excellent Location and friendly staff.
the owner very friendly and helpful.
Great information on check in.
Quietness.
The unit was nice and roomy - plenty of room for two or more people.
Comfortable budget accomodation and close to restaurants and shops.
Helpfull staff. Daily paper a nice touch.
Handy for us, quiet. Friendly staff.
free upgrade to 3 Bedroom aparment.
Nothing.
1. There are 2 separate taps in the basin for hot and cold water, but there should be one only, for both, so that the waters can get mixed up.
2. There should be a mirror in the bedroom. The only mirror in the complex was at the toilet.
There is nothing negative about this place to say.
On the letsbookhotel.com site it said full kitchen facilities but our unit only had a microwave, jug and toaster.
Nothing.
That they had no vacancy when we returned to Christchurch on our way home, need to book in advance!.
While the bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water, it could do with an up-grade.
The place is a little old & need upgrading of the carpet, toilet floor, sanitary wares, etc. The bathroom lighting needs to be brighter & the shower area needs upgrading especially on the water pressure, size, etc.
Not enough towel rails.
Nothing to really not like. It doesn't pretend to be what it's not. No dislikes.
Lights outside the building shone into the room, perhaps a sensor for the lights is needed.
Our daughter stayed in the lounge room on the single bed but this is where the TV was..perhaps a 2nd TV in the bedroom??.
Bathroom rather dated and in need of a makeover.
Our room shared a wall with the office and therefore we could hear all conversations and the door shutting each time someone came in. The bathroom was a broom closet- smallest I've ever seen!.
The Bathroom very small and did smell needs upgrading.
shower and toilet attached together for four person.
a little bit dated and old fashioned but still good value and v clean.
The shower water pressure was the worst during my stay in NZ - you nearly had to walk around to get wet.
Two things are important - a good bed and a nice strong shower.
We arrived at 19.00 one hour before final check in. We were greeted by a friendly, sweaty, smelly person who had a few beers. It took him about 15 minutes to find us a room. Next morning we checked out, again he was smelly and in the same clothes as the night before.
No hotplates for cooking. No large mirror.
A little bit dated but is being done up.
