Hotel room was very clean, staff were very welcoming and friendly, no
noise and disturbances from other guests and a stones throw away from
the train station (as train are electric they are very quiet so no
disturbance). Very easy to jump on the train from Schipol airport
(station is under the airport if you've not been) and catch the
train to Zaandam where you turn left from the platforms and out of the
station over a footbridge round to the hotel. Two train stops away from

The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Complimentary bottles of water in the room were much appreciated. Free tea and coffee anytime we liked in the downstairs area was a welcome surprise and made us feel very much at home. The lovely girl at reception even made our 12 year old a hot chocolate. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Anything we needed they
provided including helping us with our luggage and calling a cab for us.
When we arrived, the host came out to the front door to greet us. When
we left the entire staff came out to say goodbye to us. Beautiful and
quiet place, and lovely people.
