Ernesto, il ragazzo che gestisce l'appartamento, è gentilissimo. é stato disponibilissimo con noi. La posizione dell'alloggio è ottima; a lato del mercato dei fiori. La stanza è anche fornita di macchinetta espresso per il caffè e infusi vari! -

Extremely good location in walking distance to everything you want to see in Amsterdam. Spanish tapas, bars/pubs and flower market just downstairs. Two toilets and shower is shared between rooms, however for the short city trip it was a perfect choice.

Very centrally placed close to the flower market and shopping centre. - The owner, Ken, made us feel very welcome and kept the place clean and tidy every day. Our family room was very large with a double bed, a single bed and two very comfortable sofas;an additional bonus was that you could slide double doors across to separate into two individual bedrooms. The weather outside was cold but the heating was on 24 hours with adjustable radiators.

Lovely little place in a great location, a short walk into city centre. I knew I would have to park motorcycle on street, but found a convenient place almost outside hotel. Gijs was an excellent host. He helped us before arrival and during the stay. We loved the character of the house (we stayed in the loft room). It was very close to everything in Amsterdam. Rather than feeling like a tourist staying in a hotel, we felt like we are staying in our own house. Perfect value for money! Amazing breakfast.

The location is very central, all rooms overlook the canal, the owner is
super nice and helpful, both the room and the bathroom are spacious and
have everything you may need there (I.E. hair dyer, bath robes, basic
cosmetics, complimentary bottle of bubbly, mini bar). You can get
anywhere by foot in less than 30 mins. Breakfast is massive and includes
freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs of choice, salmon, cheeses, fruit,
croissants etc. Maps and tourist guides are also available.

Excellent location, all the attractions/places to visit are within 5-10 mins walk of the hotel. A canal tour and coffee shop are situated right outside the door.
We had the double room with private bathroom, very spacious and comfortable. Also a little rooftop terrace with beautiful views.

we had an excellent time at residence sweets, the staff treat you like family and are lovely, our breakfast every morning was amazing and fresh.. the room was tidy, clean and spacious. excellent location near to all squares and just around the corner is canal trips and shops. we got to come and go as we pleased,excellent. we really enjoyed our stay, and will defiantly be booking again, thank you

The room was great, unusual in that it felt luxurious. Those coffee bags were great, nothing like that in England. I have told everybody about them! It was central and value for money in comparison to what I have paid before and not been as happy with.

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. The apartment itself is stunning and spotlessly clean. Dennis and Martine were wonderful hosts. Dennis is, in his wife's own words, the entertainer!!! The free private boat trip/history lesson was great. My girlfriend and I loved it!!!!! I ended up steering the boat on a hot sunny afternoon and I cannot think of a better way of seeing the city. Freshly cooked bread is delivered to you every morning and a free well stocked fridge on arrival is a very nice touch. Overall, you'd be mad not to stay here as its a piece of private residential amsterdam l

My host was very nice! The place was nice and comfortable. It's like a home away from home. It was quiet except for the church bells ringing nearby but given all the possible noise somewhere else, I'll take the church bells anytime! Also serves as an alarm clock for 8am. If the other occupants are rowdy the host will tell them to be quiet.
