  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at De Tuinkamer. Our hostess, Joke, was very welcoming, friendly & informative. The position of her home is superb - right in the centre of one of the most pretty little towns in The Netherlands. Her home was exceptionally clean, and breakfast was excellent.   owner operator is an engaging and warm individual!....even helped me find a (free) parking space!!!....and made me a pot of tea...as i came in on a cold night.....I was happy to sit and relax in the cozy kitchen after the ferry boat ride in from Terscheling. Great Breakfast...pay the extra amount for it!!!! This is a perfect stop! It's a very old warehouse that has been nicely renovated by the owner. Harlingen is a charming port city and this was a great location, a short walk from everything. Owner was very friendly.

  Lovely deluxe room with the most comfortable beds and pillows we ever had. Heaters were on day and night as it was - 4deg. Didnt want to leave it. It felt like home. Breakfast was great too. Hotel owner Chris couldnt have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Lovely town too. - nice breakfast; cosy, little, old-style Dutch hotel
