  The interesting location in the medina - this was our first stay in a riad and we weren't sure what we'd get! Once we'd found it, had a warm welcome from the proprietor with the obligatory mint tea and pastries, and parked the car we were well settled in. We walked out with friends to eat at an excellent restaurant by the marina, and breakfast the following morning set us up nicely for our onwa - The owner was an amazingly helpful woman. I arrived at night with a very early morning departure and had no time to get to a bank machine or get dinner. She organized a taxi and let me pay on my credit card and made me a fantastic tagine! This is a great ryiad! Merci!!

  Because of my job I travel on a weekly basis which means I stay a lot in hotels. I can honestly say that this has been one of the most wonderful experiences I have ever had. I can only warmly recommend this Riad. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful (from making your stay as nice as possible as to organizing taxis etc.). The Riad is very cosy and the private room was - The staff was great, friendly and always smiling.The premises were clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was quite an assortment of pastries, yogurt, coffee and tea. The beds were the most comfortable of all the riads we stay at in Morocco. I felt at home and very comfortable.Even got my laundry done by the staff. I really appreciated all the help and assistance from the staff and owner. Great place to stay at again and again. I highly recommend Riad El Maati.

  First of all the uncomparable friendly behevior of the owners (the couple), that makes you staying in a nice amd lovely family, more than in a hotel o guest house. It is very rare to find professionality and human warmth matched together in the same host, but it happen in the case of the Ryad Dar Karima. The room are large and very comfortable, as all is made for your comfort. The food is ge - Dar Karima was awesome! As soon as we entered from the busy medina, we were transported into an oasis of calm and luxury. We were offered delicious mint tea and made to feel at home right away. The whole riad is more beautiful than in the photos, and is kept in pristine condition by the lovely girls who work there.
