  Claudio and Hena were absolutely fabulous. Very accommodating, interested to get to know you, but left you alone if you wanted private time.   I can't say enough good things about Riad Dar Diakoum although we only stayed there for one night after we came back from an excursion to the desert and before flying out of Marrakech. The Riad is an quiet oasis in the craziness that is Marrakech. The manager was so kind and considerate, she thought of everything. Even though she knew we were just... cosa dice la gente » staying for one night, she came personally to meet us and took us to the hotel, gave us tea and refreshments, pointed every amenities of the hotel ou - Riad Dar Dialkoum is simply an oasis in the middle of the Medina. Beautifully and very tastefully decorated, very friendly owners and excellent staff. Breakfast was served every morning and water, coffee, tea, fruits were on the house throughout the day. We had a lovely room (Yasmina suite) over looking the patio and has a very comfortable stay. Will return anytime we are in Marrakech.

  I arrived in Marrakech from Belgium suffering the affects of food poisoning and was immediately attended to by Jacques who made me as comfortable as possible. He arranged for me to visit a nearby pharmacy to help me get over my problem for which I was very grateful. My room was like an oasis after a full day exploring in the medina. The roof top area was appreci - We stayed for 4 nights at this lovely traditional looking Riad, walking distance to the new town (about 15-20 mins), the main square and mosque (15 mins). The staff are personable, not all speak English but you can get by. The own sat down with us talking us through the Riad and the local area. The cooks are great and you can choose where I.E. the terrace, your room, the courtyard and what time you have breakfast and pop down to the kitchen to let them know.
