  I can't say enough good things about Riad Dar Diakoum although we only stayed there for one night after we came back from an excursion to the desert and before flying out of Marrakech. The Riad is an quiet oasis in the craziness that is Marrakech. The manager was so kind and considerate, she thought of everything. Beautifully and very tastefully decorated, very friendly owners and excellent staff. Breakfast was served every morning and water, coffee, tea, fruits were on the house throughout the day. We had a lovely room (Yasmina suite) over looking the patio and has a very comfortable stay. Will return anytime we are in Marrakech.

Someone from The Red House came to pick us up from the airport and was already waiting for us when we arrived at the airport. This was a great way to start the holiday. The staff are magnificent - very friendly and only too happy to he - We read very positive hotel reviews with some caution as to their truthfulness, but all the very positive comments about The Red House were true. Location just outside the wall provides easy access to the Medina and old city as well as to the new city for shopping and restaurants. An excellent place for staying in Marrakech. All amenities, including the lovely pool, are great and the staff, starting with Abdel the front office manager, are warm and very helpful. We hope to go back. Stongly reco

  Great location - no dark alleyways to walk down (a considerable number of Riads in Marrakech are located in areas that look dodgy during the day, let alone at night). Refreshing garden / pool area - nice to come back to after the hussle and bussle of the city. Coffee in the afternoon by the pool is very good, but the coffee served at break - palaus donab was a beautiful glamorous peaceful and fragrant haven. Our room was lovely , quiet and private. The breakfasts by the pool with the birds singing were glorious. It was well situated for shops and restaurants and although near the medina was peaceful and safe inside. The staff were courteous and unimposing but bit formal. However they were helpful in finding me an emergency dentist. Thank you and loved the atmosphere.
