We almost want to keep Malihom our little secret it is so special...It's hard to put into words how beautiful the Malihom Estate is. The views are outstanding, the estate with infinity pool is outstanding, the Thai Barns are spotless, the food is delicious, the Malihom team are fantastic people who couldn't do enough to help and are so friendly. My husband and I have just returned from 6 days in Penang. We chose Traders as it was close to the bus terminal and shops which was very convenient. We never used taxis as the bus system there is exceelent so it's easy to get around the main sites by bus at very cheap prices. Led by Nardya and Roberto, the entire staff of the hotel is providing excellent services and are very hospitable. They are happy to recommend the local eateries in the area which is very nice of them. Nonetheless I would recommend to taste the pizza in their restaurant Il Bacaro which is great.

Beautiful heritage house right in the heart of Georgetown, an easy walk (in blistering heat!) to most of the key places to visit.
The owners and staff were exceedingly friendly and professional, and the room was very comfortable.
The house has been beautifully restored, with as much attention to detail in the common areas as the bedrooms.
The huge, tasty breakfast was also a bonus!

I was very grateful for the excellent English ability of the staff. I was overjoyed with the ease and simplicity of getting a tourist visa for Thailand. Every staff member was very friendly. - The stuff was very helpful and friendly, I would stay there again if I return. The rooms are big and comfortable and I recommend this hotel.

It's a beautifully restored set of old houses, the staff are courteous, friendly and helpful, there are special touches like the 4pm cup of tea and kuih (local cake) by the poolside.
