After being shown to our room, we waited for the staff member of Daelim Residence to leave before jumping up and down with excitement. This place has it all and at a great price. From a full kitchen and fridge (complete with more utensils and appliances than you could need) to plug adapters and toiletries, we were more than pleased with the amount care and detail put into everything. Mr Jang and his staff absolutely impressed us with their attention to details and their willingness to go an extra mile for us. Mr Jang came to fetch us when we couldn't find the apartment on our arrival. They showed us to our rooms to brief us on how to use the washing machine, adjust the temp etc (very thoughtful cos only Korean words on them). Unlike many other apartments, Daelim Residence provides everything you need to use the kitchen and washing machine including the detergents, sponge, u.
Daelim Residence is easy to find; the owner even sent a small movie on how to walk from the bus stop.
Although it is not really in Seoul-center, it is very easy (and cheap) to get there. Subway is very close, within 5 min walking distance.
Rooms have a pc and washing machine. Detergent and softener are included. Quiet airconditioning.
Bathroom very clean, good shower.
On every floor there are dispensers for hot/cold water and dispensers for coffee/hot chocolate are on every other floor.

This residence has a kitchenette equipped with everything you need to make breakfast and dinners. It is very clean and the room is a very good size with good sized TV and computer with internet access, also there is WIFI connection in the room.
There is a telephone in the lobby, you can make free international calls. There is a machine serving free coffee, hot chocolate and water.
The staff are very helpful and polite. Above all, Mr Jang Jae Hyek, President of Daelim Residence, is very helpfu.
We had a very pleasant stay at Daelim, it has a convenient location (near by the subway and airport bus station) & the room was fully equipped with useful electronic home appliances. What we love the most was the kitchen, as moslems we sometimes need to cook our food, they provided complete utensils that you can make any dish you want.
Mr Jang as the owner very attention to detail, he even gave a coin along with his name card, so that we can call him by public phone if we got lost! He's su.
My studio had kitchen facilities and a washer. It also had a desktop computer to use with a large flat screen and a TV with a giant flat screen! WiFi was free. NIce lift for the upper floors and a Mini mart for groceries across the street a half block away. Metro station, Guro, was a 10 minute walk. A very economical place to stay with friendly staff and welcome signs for the guests. Airport limousine 6003 stops just around the corner.
The room was great and exceeded our expectations, we only booked to see
why others had given good reviews and we could find no fault. There is
more clothing storage than any other place that we have stayed in (in
Korea) a few good chicken places nearby. The water was always hot(when
run for 3 mins) the owner and staff are great.

A home away from home. It had everything you needed for an extended stay. The resturant next door was excellent. Transport , supermarket and airport bus were all a few metres away. A great place to stay!.
Apartment is spacious and fully furnished like a home away from home. Everything you need is provided for. Friendly helpful management and staff. AK Plaza and Guro Station are just around the corner.
Amazing value for money. Lot of personalized service. If you accept
using the subway (which is actually safe, clean and has some English
information) you are reasonably close to tourist areas.

Location. Within walking distance to subway station. AK Plaza is nearby. Airport bus stop beside the plaza.
This is more of a note rather than a complaint. The airport bus drops you off in a place where you cannot see the Daelim Residence sign. If you backtrack a bit on the road to the corner and look around you will see a huge glowing sign. After you spot this, you should be good. The subway to most places in the city only takes 20-25 minutes and runs regularly and costs roughly 1 USD each way. Don't let a 25 minute subway ride detract you from staying at this truly wonderful place.

So far we don't have complaints about our stay at Daelim. It takes 20 mins to the heart of city by subway, but not really important since the trip's very enjoyable.

No problem with Daelim, however you should note that Guro station has no
escalator or lift to platforms so it is easier to use the airport
express bus.

Daelim Residence is old and not well maintained.
The temperature in the room cannot be adjusted, it was too hot for comfort so was the shower. It was a very uncomfortable stay for us.
