  Hotel is about 7 minutes walking from Shinjuku Station and in front of Tochomae Subway Station. Most of the staff speak English. Foreigners info desk were really helpful in all matters.

  The Shinagawa Prince Hotel is actually a complex of 4 different buildings and each one has different amenities, E.G., our hotel didn't have an ice machine anywhere in the building but our friends who were staying in another building did have one. They stored our bags and our friends bags (10 of them) without a fee and without batting an eye. - The hotel has many wings and rooms with different profiles. The cheaper ones are standard Japanese business hotels, i.e. very small, cheap, functional. The more expensive ones give more space and luxury. Both offer good (if not extraordinary) value for money IMHO. The unique selling point of this hotel is that it's a 3min walk from Shinagawa station from which you can get Shinkansen to Kyoto/Osaka, and Yamanote for pretty much anywhere.

It was a 10 min walk from the Shinagawa station on JR line providing easy access to the city areas like Harujuku,Tokyo Station, Shinjuku without the hassle of changing to another Metro line. Super easy access to all of Tokyo as the Shinagawa station is just a 5 minute walk, across the street from the hotel. So very easy to catch the Narita Express for our trip home to the usa.
