  When we stayed here there was some renovation going on at the hotel, complete with scaffolding. By the time we left, they had finished and were removing the scaffolding. Despite that, it was a great place to stay. The rooms were small by Western standards, but I found them quite comfortable and clean. It was our second stay at the hotel and we're gonna always be satisfied. The room rate was very good.

  The hotel is well located, Shibuya is a few minutes walking distance. And even when you head to the other side, there are some nice areas. The rooms are small, but well, its Japan. if you have large luggage don't take the economy rooms. Also, there is a cute little place accross the street for breakfast, and if you walk a litt - Tidy hotel with nicely decorated rooms and handy connections to most of Tokyo through Shibuya subway station and JR train lines. Situated in a lively area (although very busy with hoards of people and plenty of noise) with lots of cool small restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel staff was also happy to store our luggage for some time both before and after our stay, which was greatly appreciated.

  Apa is brand new, very secure and clean. Conveniently right next door to Higashi-Shinjuku Subway Station, a focal point to most happening places around Tokyo.   We loved our corner room at the back side of the hotel with a nice view. We stayed in 8 different hotels around Japan (3 in Tokyo), and this was one of the best for the price. - I left some money in my room and some documents. They went beyond what is necessary to return them to me. Fabulous service. Great location for nightlife.
