We had a perfectly adequate western room with the usual/necessary functions, but be warned - it was a typical Japanese size, i.e. small and cramped. I really liked the location - it's very close to the park and the subway station. Particularly coming from Narita, the access is quite convenient and they have very good instructions on how to find the hotel.
I'd say the rooms were a good value. Yes, they are small - but that's pretty standard for Tokyo or any large city. They were clean and comfortable, and had travel necessities like hair dryers, shampoo, etc. Also the laundry on the 6th floor was useful.

Lovely, clean small hotel, with large, bright rooms by Japanese standard. The staff is very helpful and they speak good English. It is located in a nice, quiet environment close to shops, restaurants and about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The Nippori station is on the main "circle" line which takes you to Tokyo, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and other places of interest without the need to change the trains. Great location! Kawasaki Kanagawa is just 2-stops away from the station nearby the hotel (zoshiki station). All along the road once stepped out from the Zoshiki Station, you will find all local shops. Is a very nice blend of the old meets new.

Very conveniently located to catch the skyliner to the Narita airport. I was afraid that it would be very noisy due to the proximity to the train station but it was not bad at all (room facing the other direction). The onsen is very nice, in contrast to some other places where I have stayed, you can use it in the evening and in the morning. -
