  We had a perfectly adequate western room with the usual/necessary functions, but be warned - it was a typical Japanese size, i.e. small and cramped. You couldn't fit in more than 2 normal sized suitcases and even that would be pushing it (we had 1 and a couple of smaller hand baggage bags). Also it was very conven - I really liked the location - it's very close to the park and the subway station. Yes, they are small - but that's pretty standard for Tokyo or any large city.   We liked pretty much everything - really nice hostel. Clean, bright japanese rooms (western too, but we preferred the Japanese ones). Good kitchen and several places to sit and eat dinner and breakfast. Good clean showers and bathrooms. This place has everything you would really want for a place to stay and explore Tokyo.
