This was an interesting experience staying at this place and would recommend it to open minded travellers visiting the city. Good location within 10 minutes walking distance of Shinjuku station.
Whilst I was travelling with luggage this could be stored at the reception area as there is not a lot of room in either the capsule of the small lockers provided which are really just to be used for a small back pack and hanging up of clothes.
If you are travelling around and just stay here for a nigh. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
10/10 for novelty value, but more than that, this was a very comfortable night's sleep. You can even have your underwear laundered and ready to collect in the morning, or buy new ones plus a shirt and tie from reception. English instruction leaflet was provided and the staff were very friendly, so the atmosphere was more relaxed than I'd expected. There isn't a speck of dirt anywhere - you leave shoes on entry and wear shorts and top which are provided - rest of your clothes go in your pers.
Location in the middle of the city that never sleeps (Kabukicho in
Shinjuku), very nice staff (even when they don't speak English they
will communicate with you and they will do their very best to accomodate
any request, they are awesome!), you pay hostel prices but you get much
more, a great onsen (japanese bath) with all toiletries free of charge
for example, with sauna, jacuzzi, hot mineral pool, cold pool, etc.
Great budget facility, if you are booking a capsule hotel it is a different experience, but it is everything it says it is and more. Location is good but a bit hard to find but get Sinjuku and take east exit. Go down Yasukuni Dori, when you come to Mr Donut turn left and it is about 3 doors down. Look for signs on a column. The hotel is on the same side as Mr Donut.
Location great for getting the japan highway bus to mount fuji
(shinjuku). Great tokyo capsule hotel experience and japanese
traditions of washing/bathing/ and general hotel customs.Good
value and better alternative to sleeping in a dormitory. Lifts to
capsule hotel rooms, good security and staff speak good english. Free
wifi on each floor.
Great price for accommodation in Tokyo. Great experience of a Japanese iconic "capsule"hotel." Highly recommended to the solo male visitor to Japan who wants a truly local custom for a one or two night stay. Reasonable priced, simple evening food/beverage service available in the common tv lounge area 4th floor.
Pretty clean place and actually very comfortable to stay in. Has everything you need for the pragmatic/budget traveler. Showering area is nice, you get your own tv and charging station in your capsule, and it is in a prime location in Tokyo with pretty easy access to shopping, good food, and the metro station.
Small cosy capsule just nice for you to sleep in. Wifi available
everywhere in the hotel. Nice lounge on level 4 with restaurant. Near to
Shinjuku station. Shinjuku's Golden Gai is just behind the hotel
with lots of interestingly small bars to explore.
Superbly clean! Quite comfortable sleeping inside the capsule though you
can hear occasional snoring and loud chatter from other guests. But with
the rate I paid, it's value for money for the iconic Japanese
capsule experience!.
Tokyo is expensive and this hotel cheap. Just private bunk basically, but was fine, good location in busy nightlife area and near Shinkasu station. Good for solo male traveler. Use letsbookhotel.com for discount.
The some of the staffs were good with English and very friendly. The location is really good and very near to Shinjuku Station. The hotel is very clean and comfortable too. Facilities are well prepare too!.
The location is good, although the hostel itself is a bit hard to find. You have Japanese bath, which is great. If the staff knew english a bit better - that was the only thing that made some difficulties.
The location is fantastic, in the heart of Shinjuku (Tokyo). It is a large capsule hotel. They have a large recreation room. It is clean and the bathing area is very neat and foreighner friendly.
Great location and very handy from Shinjuku Station. For a foreigner
living in Japan it was more about the novelty value at first but for
short trips I'd definitely consider stopping by again.
Really good location, the price is really good. I don't feel uncomfortable in the common shower.
Staff are quite nice and speak a good English. The front desk is 24Hrs.
Perfect location (hard to find, but use directions given in one of the other reviews).
The shower/bath facilities are excellent, but there is no private showers.
conveniently located in the hearth of Shinjuko, it is the perfect place to have a capsule experience! plenty of free bath robes and large hot bath facilities.
Great location nice lounge luggage kept behind front desk give some
security great bathroom with hot and cold bathing pools phone calls'
room on each floor.
It was a diffrent experience to stay in the campus yet it was great. Location is the best. Staff are friendly and facilities are very good.
Great value for a solo traveler. Price was good, bath facilities seemed very good for a hostel - nothing fancy, but they did the job.
- right next to Shinjuku station
- good price
- I found it surprisingly comfortable (could sit and large enough for me to move).
great hot tub facilities, easy going atmosphere, very quiet, I got some very good sleep after great bath + really cheap.
Capsule is comfortable, cosy and temperature is just nice enough to keep
you warm as when the weather is cold outside.
Well-designed capsules
Super comfortable
Great location
Excellent Value
Wifi and Outlets were super convenient.
I loved the location and experience. The staff and hotel were super professional. It was very clean and safe.
Such a fun experience! Surprisingly quiet considering the set-up with so many beds in one room. Great location.
The location is great - in the middle of Tokyo.
The price was very good.
The facilities were good also.
The location is excellent very close to shinjuku station in kabuchicho. The price is very good.
This is a very popular Capsule hotel in central Tokyo, attracting both locals and travellers.
Cheap, close to Shinjuku station, and the spa feels amazing after a long day of walking.
Novelty value. Makes a bit of a change.
Helpfull staff and very clean.
Staff was friendly and efficient. It was clean and quiet.
Clean. Polite staff. Nice Japanese style baths (onsen).
Great position, well organized and clean structure.
Location was very nice, the price is just right.
I feel it gave a true Tokyo Capsule experience.
Unique Japan atmosphere, public baths, robes.

Not too commercialize.
top location.
The public bath and spa was great. I was a little take aback at first but quickly got used to the system and was comfortable.
Location is pretty good - you are right in the centre with plenty of nightlife.
very close to Shinjuku station.Perfect if you stay outside all day long.
Perfect. 5 min walk from Shinjuku station.
Convenient location for solo traveller.
I enjoyed this stay very much and didn't dislike anything.
That you have to leave the hotel between certain times of the day (10:00
am to 4:00 pm I think).
Just initially finding the place, but it was not bad sight seeing.
Location on the 3rd floor with poor signage (use google streetview).
Capsule rooms difficult to climb on the second level. No air
conditioning in capsules and smelt slightly smelly. Budget feel to the
place and also very crowded.
Though it didn't bother me, some might find lack of privacy an issue, especially in open, communal bathing and sauna... again, a traditional Japanese experience. Some sound transmission from other capsules (snoring, alarm clocks, etc) could disrupt some light sleepers. Check out required on or before 10am, even if staying more than one night. Readmission permitted at/after 4pm, and luggage can be stored during the day while away.
You have to be totally out by 10 am or will be charged a late fee. This means that afterwards you can't stay and use the Internet, leave your luggage there, or even use the bathroom, all of which I could have done after the check out time in the other hostels and guest houses we stayed in in Tokyo.
Slightly hard to locate the hotel at first. Walk along the left side of
the main street and turn left when you see mister donut. Its only about
50 metres away. Look out for the sign.
Communal bath..I Stayed for 3 nights, at first I was uncomfortable but
after few days I got used to the traditional bathing experience.
The room are a bit small. Washing machine are kind of expansive.
Everything was fine. the check-in check-out thing every day was weird, but that's in all Japan, so what can you do...
For a capsule hotel is the price pretty high. It's a little tricky to find, it is on the third floor of a building where several companies are located.
The capsules were a little hot, seeing I was in Tokyo in the middle
of summer. I didn't really know how the systems in the hotel
worked at first.
You need to check in and check out every day, what is annoying.
Ear plugs is a must have as some people snore badly during the night.
They say capsules are 200 cm long, but that must be outside measurements. I'm 187 and can barely fit.
I only booked 1 night in advance, but ended up staying 5. When I wanted to extend the price on letsbookhotel.com was 2500 JPY, but they wanted 4200. They DID tell me to just book it via letsbookhotel.com to save money, so I did.
You have to stay outside the hotel from 10-16 during cleaning and then re-check in.
no AC in the capsule and a little bit noisy at night time (but this comes with the capsule experience).
Loud korean person down the hall snored like a horse and kept the whole
floor awake. Lockers too small for more than a few items.
You have to check out each day - they'll hold your luggage, and there are coin lockers downstairs, so it's not the end of the world, but a bit of a pain if you're staying for several days.
a bit small bed, but that's what you should expect here.
Did not come across facilities where you can dry your wet socks or
clothing and for umbrella keeping. Did I miss them ?.
Bed could have been slightly longer... I'm 6'1" (186 cm) and I was flush to the end at both head and foot.
I stayed in the winter and it was too hot. No fan or air circulation. I now know why they gave me 2 towels. 1 was for washing and the other to wipe the perspiration off me all night. Slowly microwaved all night.
Thought each capsule would have a door but it was just a curtain. Not ideal to have the lockers so far from the capsules (different floor).
It's a tipical Capsule Hotel clean and cozy but capsule...
Capsules may not be the right experience for everyone.
The capsules get a bit hot after a few hours of sleep. This hotel is in the Red Light district. If you are out late at night (and are of the male gender) be prepared to be hassled by folks trying to get you into their establishments.
No circulating air in the capsule, gets very VERY hot.
If it had AC I would of slept really well, alas it didn't :-/.
The special rate was not offered to me again..and priced doubled...otherwise I would stay there again..
2700yen...up to 4200 yen...
I booked 2 nights but they didn't make clear that you must be out of the hotel between 10am and 4pm, hence they charged me extra because I left at 10.30am. Come on...
The japanese "shower" (all together without clothes) is very
unusual for european people.
for a stay that's more than one day, you have to be outside the hotel on the second day, and you can come back to the hotel after check in hour.
The showers weren't the best as they lacked privacy as there was no cubicles but it didn't bother me. You had to check out every morning at 10am then check back in at 4pm but you could leave your bag in storage and they looked after your valuables behind the reception.
Blinds don't block out light completely, but didn't have any trouble sleeping in the comfy bed.
batiment peu visible.
small lockers.
10am - 4pm lockout (but really not that much of a problem).
No Sign in English to find the hotel.
well it's a capsule hotel, which you have to leave after 10am even if staying for two days.
The capsule I stayed in was very dirty. They didn't even bother to clean out the trash from the previous user. It looks like they never get inside and clean the capsule. Changing the sheets seems like the only thing they do to manitain te capsule.
I can only say that I am too tall. At 192 cm, The capsule was a little small but not hard to sleep in. The staff were fine but a smile wouldn't go astray.
The next day I had some bites around my legs and itching - could have been bed bugs I didn't see any but with cheap accomodation and lots of people on a budget they usually exist.
I can't remember such a noisy capsule hotel..you can hardly sleep..
Noisy.
Unconvenient organization of baggages in different stores/lockers, like all other capsule-concept hotels.
