- Great location! Close to shops, food, tcat, numerous train stations,
20 minute walk to Akihabara and Tokyo Station, and a short walk to the
105 yen store (where you can spend sooo much without realising it ^_^)
- very clean!
Rooms can be cleaned every day if you wish and fresh towels provided. We thought we could do without it, but they offered every day when we left the hotel.
- Free wifi
- Hot water system was very good! Heated up very quickly
- Elevators are always a plus
- Complementa.
The Horidome Villa is a typically Japanese hotel - not because of its furniture or style, but because it exemplifies an asset of Japan: how to make intelligent use of restricted space. My room looked cramped at first sight, but then I realized it included the essentials and more. The bed was comfortable. Maintenance was beyond criticism, there was a fridge, the bathroom had a - small - bath, location was excellent, 5 minutes walking from two metro stations, one of which was connected to two lin.
Excellent 24 hour service. Staff can speak English. They kept our
luggage before check in time and when we came back after check in time,
they had already taken our luggage to our room for us. Rooms are a
little small but very clean and have all amenities, sleepwear, wireless
internet etc. Great location - 20min walk from Tokyo Station, close to
two subway stations (4 and 6 minute walk) for the Hibiya, Ginza and
Asakusa lines. One station away from Akihabara. Three convenience stores
nearby (La.
Perfect location near two MRT lines, Hibiya line and JR Asakusa line that'll connect you from and to the sky express going to Narita airport along the way from the mrt stations Kodenmacho and Ningyocho you'll pass by food shops, fruit stand, grocery and a 24hr family mart. Room was small but otherwise youll have a good bed to rest and sleep. Perfect for a tight budget traveller. Generally, me and my sister have a pleasant stay in the hotel.
The staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful, the rooms, though very compact, have all the necessities, it is fairly centrally located, very close to an underground station, right beside a late opening convenience shop, English speaking staff, unintrusiv cleaning staff, access to two coin-operated washing machines (use between 10-21, 200¥), vending drinks machines, free morning coffee in the lobby.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. There is kettle and fridge in the room Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel including the room and free coffee is provided every morning in reception. Great location with easy access to a number of stations. The rooms are small but the room rate very reasonable. There is also a laundry with washing machine and dryer.
Room has everything you need hair dryer, kettle etc. Rooms are very very small but I guess its ok for the price. No breakfast but lots of restaurants around with an Indian Restaurant just beside Nigyocho Station ( 2nd floor ). Location is very good. Ask for room facing the main road since there is no morning sunlight in the behind rooms which makes it very dull in the morning.
Amazing atmosphere, friendly and kind staff that helped me by holding my
bags while was travelling for no extra charge. Comfortable (aircon) and
very clean room with view over the Skytree! (Guess I got lucky there).
Last, location. 20 minute walk from Tokyo Central station and amenities all around.
By the way... I don't work for them! I just think they deserve this.
This hotel is located near many stations. There two different subway you can take that are close by. If you don't mind walking just a bit more you can easily walk to a JR station.
The staff are friendly and speak great English.
The hotel is clean and the rooms were very comfortable. There was also lots of room under the bed for storing bags.
Despite being small and having a decent price point the hotel has very good facilities for one of its size. Daily room cleaning, very clean bathroom and room that was fully stocked with amenities, water boiler, fridge and wifi the place was great. The front desk is also 24 hours and they speak English which makes it very foreigner friendly.
The room is very clean and the facilities are in good condition. There are many convenient stores and restaurants opening 24 hrs. nearby. The hotel is located between 2 metro stations, i.e. Kodemmacho and Ningyocho. I spent 5 nights at this hotel and will surely stay here again when I visit Tokyo next time.
Overall is great! 5 mins walk from Kodenmacho Subways station or 20 mins walk to Akihabara. 7 and Family Mart is just next door. Room is quite small but it's standard size. You can left your luggage while you're away for a few days. I left my bags for 2-3 days and come back to stay for another 2 nights.
the hotel is located about 5 min walk from the JR station and the Metro and toei line stations
there a lot of great restaurants in the area
the staff is really nice and helpful they really went out of there way to help
the rooms are small but comfortable
i will defiantly consider going back there.
They offer luggage storage not only during the check in/out day but also for the 4 days we were in Nikko since we came back to stay at the hotel. When we checked in, our luggage had already been brought up to our room. Two coin laundry rooms on the 4th and 6th floors. Great staff, great location.
A perfect hotel in the heart of Tokyo. Close to the station and main subway lines which allows for easy access to whereever you'd like to go. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. Can't find a better hotel with that location in Tokyo, especially not considering the price.
Very convenient arrangement: it is a lot of various branches of the subway that simplified a trip route. It is a lot of various snackbars and round-the-clock grocery shops, not so big bookstore, various beauty shops and a Spa-salons.
Friendly and friendly personnel.
Decent, free coffee in the morning. Very good location to start exploring Tokyo. Shops are all around (7Elevenm FamilyMart, etc.) Metro and JR line is just a couple blocks from the hotel. A lot of small restaurants are along the same street.
Very very convenenient location, can walk to Akihabara (15 mins) or take the trains to other locations in Tokyo. Shibuya (30mins train), Shinjuku (20 mins), totally recommend this place. Quiet and also has fast speed wireless internet.
The best is the location and the helpful staf. Clean small rooms with
carpet so if you hate carpets aviod to book. Lo mejor es la situación y
el personal. Todas las habitaciones tienen moqueta!!! Y son algo
pequeñas pero muy confortables.
Hotel was really comfortable, got everything I needed and was close to various convenience stores, food spots and subway stations.
Staff was polite and willing to help in English if needed. 10/10 hotel, would stay here every time.
Helpfulness of the staff when asked for directions to various places
including to Narita Airport inclusinve of the maps provided. The hotel is
also centrally located & rooms are reasonably clean with good water
heating system.
Good value for money, room was small but clean, towel and cleaning each day. Near to betel there are a lots of restaurants and bars, jr station not 10 min walks from hotel ( only one train stop for Tokyo station) metro is closer.
Very close to metro lines which get you a lot of places very easily.
Staff were very friendly and helpful however, and stored our luggage for
us after we checked out while we were out. Rooms were clean, and they
looked brand new.
It is a good choice hotel for budget conscious travellers, if you are
willing to put up with small spaces and narrow bed. The lobby is small
but pleasant, you can warm up a meal in the micro and have free coffee
in the morning.
Comfortable, clean, budget appropriate - all the basic necessities there. Good free wifi. In a business area of the city, a close walk to a couple of stations on various train lines. Direct line to haneda & narita airports.
Helpful staff - able to look after our bags while we went out for the
day to wait for out early morning flight the next day. Comfortable. Well
positioned - 5 minute walk from 2 metro stations, and walking distance
to Akibahara.
If you solo traveller on mid range budget and know about the small rooms you will love the easy access to everything. Quiet area but plenty of food choices. Money easy to get from 7/11. 2/3 train/ subway stations closeby.
at a very good location; staff was very kind offering useful information (english was good actually); room provided necessary things you need for city trip; room was small (we stayed at a small double room) but comfortable.
Good location near the centre, near both underground and train lines, great staff, wifi, nice clean rooms with all of the standard stuff, access to washing facilities. Free morning coffee in the lobby. A very good hotel!.
Near metro stations: Ningyocho, Kodemacho and Shin-Nihombasui (just
one stop to Tokyo Central); Near tcat, several restaurants such as
Zola; There is a Family Mart store (24 hours convenience store)
besides the hotel.
Excelent hotel, extremly clean, silent and next to subway and jr lines.
We were in small semi double, and it was very small, but anyway it is a
perfect place for the amount you pay...less than 50€ per night/room.
the staff can speak English, so it was easy to communicate with the staff. The room is clean and complete enough. the room size is very small, it is perfect for stay a couple of days, but not for to stay longer.
Location is really fantastic, easy walking distance to 3 stations and direct train ride to Haneda/Narita airports, Shinjuku, Asakusa, Ginza, Tsukiji, Ueno etc. Also lots of shops and local restaurants nearby.
Great service & thankful to hotel staff for their help on
communicate in japanese & enable us to get back our lost bag in the
train. Hotel very near to subway & many convinent store surround.
Staff was very helpful and were proficient in English.
The WiFi internet provided was fast and the signal was strong.
Being in between two stations gave some flexibility in accessing the rest of Tokyo.
Strategic location, helpful staff, clean room, convenient price... all this made the stay an enjoyable experience. Excellent in all ways and definitely will stay there when visiting Tokyo again.
Clean and well equipped room
Helpful staff (english speaking)
Reasonable price
Not far from a Japan Rail station (less than 10min by foot) and close to 2 subway stations (2min).
Very quiet place.
very clean, neat rooms and friendly personnel. location is excellent to start your day with a not too expensive breakfast, as there are many restaurants in the lower price range in the vicinity.
Good location, 5 mins walk from Kodenmacho metro station. Yoshinoya restaurant next door provides fast yummy cheap food, and plenty of convenience stores nearby too. Very good wifi connection.
Hotel is really well located, Family mart just down the stairs, restaurants few steps aside, metro station less than 5 minutes walk. Stuff was friendly, very helpful and spoke good English.
There is a receptionist who speaks really good English and offered us great help! The hotel is about 5-10 minutes walk to the nearest metro station, it is a pretty convenient location.
+ Very good relation: quality to price
+ Morning coffee
+ Free WiFi
+ Location (close to 2 subway stations)
+ Variety of dining possibilities (incl. Sushi) within 5min walk from hotel.
Very good location for a city break in Tokyo, within 10 min walk to several metro stations. Many cafes and restaurants in the area. Clean room, friendly staff, good value for money.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a very central location to many of the attractions we wanted to see. The room had everything we needed and was very clean.
They let us do the check-in earlier and lend us umbrellas because it was raining. Free wifi and complimentary coffee. Close to two different subway stations. Great value for money.
The hotel is located near to the metro and bullet train stations. Rooms are clean and well-equipped. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Supermartkets and cafes next door.
The hotel is close to two train stations which makes it easy to get around. There are lots of restaurants nearby and a family mart so I could always find budget meal options.
The location is great. near to the metro station and situated between a 24 hour family mart and yoshinoya. Lots of eating places along the street where the hotel is located.
Upgraded us from small double to normal double room free of charge. Very friendly staff, had a good comfortable last night in Tokyo before heading back home the next day.
Bins were small but they clean and dispose of everything in and
around the bin.
Lack of breakfast. However, there are many alternatives in the neighbourhood.
Rooms a little small - difficult to find space to open large suitcases.
The drying machine is awful, though this seems to be a common feature of Japan. The beds are a little hard.
Other than a small rail in the room (fits about 4 shirts on coat hangers there is nowhere to put clothing which means you are living out of your suitcase. some cup bard space would be niche especially for a long stay. I stayed for 8 days.
Room very small.
Well nothing is perfect. So if had to point my finger at something...
I'd say room size.
But then again space in Tokyo is a commodity and there are no hotel that give large rooms at an affordable price, I've read many reviews before booking.
The hotel can be a bit hard to find as it is not located right next to a subway or train station.
The room is very small, this can't be understated. Other than that though the stay was very good. Limited TV channels, but who's in Japan to watch TV in a hotel room?.
It's a central heater during spring (10-20 c) sometimes its too hot but they are generous enough to lend us a fan.
No luggage storage room; luggage is kept in the public walkway next to the front desk.
In booking confirmation the route was incorrectly specified: Otemachi and Nihombashi stations are quite far. Kodemmacho, are close located Ningyocho, Iwamotocho and Suitengumae is slightly farther.
Rooms are a bit small but very clean with very high stanard.
The rooms were really stuffy, though they do provide an air conditioner & a fan for the room. But you can't leave that going during the night, you could but possibly not good for your health.
Nothing to say here, would definitely stay here again.
As a coffee enthusiast, my wish is to have coffee and other hot
breverage to be available 24hrs at the hotel lobby, instead of stopping
at Noon each day.
Very small rooms but it's not a big deal and it's not
unexpected in Tokyo.
The room we had was really small, smaller than the one advertised on
the website. No space to move around whatsover. Bed is small too for
two people.
No attractions within the vicinity. Had to take the train everywhere and that can be rather costly. That being said, it's just a couple of train stops away from tokyo/ginza. North is ueno.
Room was small but expected.
Nothing really. Great place to finish our Japan trip!.
Noisy air conditioning and stuffy room. But if you just there to sleep not too much of a bother for the pice you pay.
the small double room was a little big too small...when you put down two 24' suitcases, almost all empty space is occupied.
This is a general warning about Japanese tumble driers; they don't work. This one is okay if you put very few clothes in and let them dry for a couple of hours.
Room too small, good only for sleep and rest but not comfortable for
staying all the day working or studying.
Can't open the window in room(although there is air con and also portable fan provided).
Small room (as often in Japan)
No laundry room
No breakfast.
Nothing to write here.
The room is a bit small, but still, value for money!.
- No possibility to open window
- very small room.
room quite small, however with everything you need for a pleasant stay.
The bed was a little uncomfortable.
Nothing, everything met or exceeded our expectations.
Though my room was non smoking, the neighbouring rooms weren't so the room smelled of smoke. The hallway carpets are also very dirty.
