Location was excellent both for mountain access and also for easy stroll to restaurants and bars. Staff were locals and helped as much as we needed. Great inside/outside Onsen within the hotel, and the included Japanese and Western breakfasts were buffet style and had a good range to choose from. A great hotel that doesn't lose it's local feel. -

Staff were very friendly although only spoke sufficient English to really hold a conversation with. Relaxed atmosphere and good storage for skis and boots.
Breakfast was excellent.

Staff were very warm and helpful. The manager even went out of his way to research public transport combinations for us to visit the Snow Monkeys as the tour season had yet to start.
Facilities were great. Private onsen that could be booked was great addition as many foreigners are not entirely comfortable using the single-gender nude onsens. -
