Cosa dice la gente
We didn't stay at the B&B but at a small apartment room around the corner. It was very nice. Location was very central to Vatican. Breakfast was very nice- breads with meats and cheese. Tea and coffee. Room cleaned daily and fresh towels daily as needed.
Location is the best, 10 minutes from Saint Peter's cathedral. Room was very clen. Breakfast was quite good, mainly sweet: coffee, juice, bread, cheese, jam, butter, nuttela, croissant, milk, jogurt, cornflakes.tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
This small, family run B & B, is within a block of the Vatican. Excellent service, great location, good breakfast. Owner was exceptionally nice, and eager to make our stay comfortable.
It is near the Vatican and train station.
There's an elevator.
Staff were good (had that homey feel to it).
They provide free maps and wifi.
Great location, very nice landlady, spotlessly clean.
The room was clean, with the bed made and clean towels provided everyday. Breakfast was enough to keep you going until lunch: italian croissants, proscuitto, bread, jam, cheese, orange juice, milk and coffee. As previously mentioned, the owner is a nice lady, more comfortable in French than in English if you are able. Lots of shopping and restaurants around. Perfect for going to the Vatican museums first thing in the morning (I recommend arriving for 8:30, opens at 9, and the line is shortER).
We really liked the location. It was a 10 minute walk to St. Peter's sq. and a 5 minute walk to the Metro station. Also the lady who owns it was very friendly and there was a little girl (I think her grand daughter) who was the cuttest little thing :-)
Breakfast was nothing fancy but it was very good (great esspresso).
The room was clean and although we had a shared bathroom, it was clean also.
Alex B&B was very close to Vaticano, the location was great near to metro station and Vatican. Also you can walk vatican and other places in Rome if you like walking. The lady, who is owner, is friendly and although she doesnt know English very well, she understands us and we do by using body-language.
Great location for the Vatican. Alex's breakfast was fine though we had to use a cafe the first morning which was hard to locate.
This is a family B&B nice family
room was clean location excellent for the Vatican walking
distance.
We couldn't get the air conditioning to work but as we were there in May it wasn't really necessary. Maybe we didn't know how to work it and if we'd asked for help it may have worked.
We booked for a room with private toilet (thinking that it will be
inside the room). Instead, the toilet was outside the room which
didn't feel too much private for us.
Door locks were hard to lock/unlock both bedroom and toilet.
Door in the toilet was hard to open and close.
No view from our bedroom.
The shared bathroom was a bit annoying, as it was not always free when you needed it. The walls are very thin, so we heard the baby in the neighbouring room. Also not close to central Rome. If you don't mind walking, it's about 30 mins to Piazza del Popolo and 1 hour to the Colloseum. Doable for us at the beginning of the day, but not for everyone.
Nothing really, although we didn't spend much time in the room.
The sharing bathroom is not useful, you have to wait that's why the private room shoul be chosen i think.
First night room with private bathroom unavailable, poor excuse about plumbing problem. Next day moved us to another room, both nights were across the road from where breakfast was supplied.
