The best asset of this hotel is the staff who were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very well-appointed and very comfortable. Ettore was a wonderful and thoughtful host that made our stay very enjoyable. He was tremendously helpful in answering any of our questions. He offered a great overview of things to see and do not only in Sorrento but on the Amalfi Coast. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to suggest some great restaurants. only 5 minute walk, furthest 25 mins. They were helpful with our daily
excursions checking travel arrangements and opening times.Breakfast was
self serve and plenty on offer including home made baking. Our apartment
was spacious having balcony at fromt and back,orange lemon grove at back

Don't let the entrance fool you. Once you go upstairs and see the rooms you will be happily surprised. The rooms are neat and tidy and spacious. Salvatore, the owner, is such a friendly guy. He is very helpfull and will point you in the right directions you need to go to. The day of the arrival you fill in the breakfast form and Salvatore will bring you the breakfast that you choose on the terrace on the roof. I loved the warm, welcoming staff and Giovanni's delicious cappuccinos.
The breakfast was delicious, the location was smack dab in the center of everything, and the room was spacious and clean, clean, clean. If you're looking for a formal environment where staff doesn't speak unless spoken to, this isn't the place for you. Palazzo Montefusco feels like you're staying with old friends.
