You really need to put "location for visiting important sites" to your list above. And "charm" - this place offered a great location for visiting Villa Romana del Casale near Piazza Armerina. There was also amazing shopping possibilities for ceramics.This place offered both comfort and charm and the history of this house itself was interesting. The host and staff were very accommodating and pleasant as has been our experience throughout Sicily!

We were warmly welcomed by Giuseppe, the owner of the B&B. He speaks
only a little bit English. He was very helpful, so kind helping me with
speaking Italian I hadn’t done for 20 years. Later we say his son, who
speaks English and his mother. We choose this location just outside
Piazza Armerina because it is situated nearby the impressive Villa
Romana del Casale with its beautiful Roman mosaics. Breakfast on a big
table where we met the other guests was varied with plenty of local

Everything about this place is excellent. You are greeted by Giuseppe the owner who is extremely friendly and helpful.
The rooms are very clean and comfy.
Giuseppe cooked me and two other very nice guests from Belgium a meal in the evening. Nice meal nice wine. Great b&b with a fantastic breakfast that encompasses many local delicacies. It's outside town so very quite, although this can be a problem if you do not have your own car.
We didn't but the staff were fantastic providing us with transfers (without expecting recompense!). Maria Grazia is a registered guide and very knowledgeable, worth booking for the Roman villa.

Sono stato solo una notte in Hotel, ma la camera era molto bella e dotata di tutti i confort, lo staff dell'hotel è stato gentilissimo. Inoltre l'hotel si trova vicino al centro della cittadina e quindi comodissimo per raggiungere il centro a piedi. - Comfort della camera, abbondante colazione
