  The staff was welcoming and friendly - even before checking in, they offered information per email on what to do and see. Excellent location to view Etna - fresh air - short walk to the cableway. The room with a terrace is highly recommendable - it gave us a great view both to the sea and to the mountain. I recommend half board; the dinner alternatives were varied, the servings plentyful and the food was just v - Excellent hotel, walking distance from the cable car going up Mount Etna. We arrived late at night, but the man at the reception was extremely nice!! He explained all excursions, answered all of our questions (millions of them), and was able to share with us his love of the volcano. This certainly made our stay. The room was great, super clean, wifi is great.

  Although we booked for 2 nights for a hotelroom with seaview we stayed in one of the three cozy and modern Huts, behind the hotelbuilding, situated in a beautiful garden. The Huts are small, but for us it was no problem. We were the only guests and enjoyed the quiet swimming pool with great views on the Etna and the coastal area. They speak very well English and provided us with all the information you need to visit an unkno - Great location at the edge of lovely town Nicolosi, and on the road to Mount Etna (15 minutes to the lift). The owner's couple were friendly and very helpful for our trip to the top of Etna. Tip: leave the hotel at 08:30, so you take the earliest lift to the top and enjoy the morning sun. Later in the day it gets cloudly. There are three clean, modern and spacious rooms in the basement and four wooden cottages in the garden. Nice pool with stunning view and a professional tennis court.
