One of the best hotels we have ever been. And believe - The weekend spent at Hotel Villa Cora was a great experience. The beauty of the building, the attention to details and privacy you get are good reasons to go back. The services, professionalism and kindness of the staff was something we also enjoyed. The hotel is close enough to the center (if you are not used to always be in the car) and they also offer a shuttle which we took on the way back in the evening. Great stay in a beautiful place.

  The Bencista is a fabulous old villa up in the hills of Fiesole with breathtaking views of Florence. It is a wonderful, quiet retreat from long days of sight-seeing. Coffee on the Terrazza next to the Aurora Hotel in Fiesole is great too. There is no A/C but the large ceiling fan was sufficient. No TV, but who has time to watch tv with all the stu
