  We were a family of 4 and booked the 1 bedroom apartment.The kids slept on a comfortable fold out bed. Pier guided us to the apartment for which we are so thankful as we would never have found it otherwise. A - The apartment was in a good location, only being about 500 meters to the grand canal at the San Silvestro stop in S. Polo. It was situated between Campo Aponal and a grocery store at the other end of the alley. It was neat and clean with air conditioning that worked great. It was had ample supplies for the kitchen and bathroom. I highly recommend staying there.

  The hotel is very well located. It is very close form the train station and a couple steps from the bus and taxi station. You can easily reach San Marco by foot and easily get back by boat.   I chose Alloggi Marinella principally for its convenient location near Piazza Roma and the railway station, but the Rialto and San Marco are only an interesting 20 minute walk away, and the ferries stop nearby. It's a curious little pensione, with some rooms located in a sort of "mews" behind the main building, with a separate entrance, and others... cosa dice la gente » located upstairs in the main building. I stayed in both and both had their charms and both were very comfortable. Perhaps stay in the main building i - Excellent location if you are on a cruise or need to be near rail or road transport. It's also close to one of the major water bus terminals. Quiet street with shuttered windows. Room was small but clean with adequate storage. Free WiFi available in the lobby/breakfast area, but I managed to get it in the room as it was directly above this area. Staff a very helpful with suggestions and directions.
