Seeing the hotel from outside might be a bit shocking but u can easily get used to it.
The manager of the hotel came down personally to great us. He showed us around the room and gave us a local map explaining the whereabouts.
The room was very clean, spacious. With all the extras: Fridge, cooker, nespresso machine, TV, hairdryer. All the cutleries .
Very close walking distance to the Vatican and only 5 to 10mins by taxi to Colloseo.

The location was excellent. It is a quiet, clean and comfortable accommodation with air con and a small refrigerator in in the room. Situated on the first floor of a block of apartments with a lot of small family run restaurants a few paces in each direction. A few minutes walk frm the main bus routes. Location was excellent for navigating around Rome. Right next to Ponte Umberto short walk to Castle Saint Angelou and Vatican, even shorter walk to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. We really enjoyed this hotel! Right from the entry way to the hotel room! The hotel is down a cobble stone street and you really get the feeling that you are in rome. The location is perfect! The breakfast was really good and the staff was friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to others. I stayed in two different hotels in Rome, and I preferred this hotel and location.

'yes' and with a smile. They dealt with every single request
immediately and gave great advice on places to visit and local expertise
on prices and timings of trips. We stayed in the junior suite which was

Not your typical hotel, but charming. Modern, rooms are larger than expected, esp for the price. Excellent location just behind Piazza Navona, convenient to Pantheon, Vatican, Tiber River and all things ancient. Very clean, comfortable bed, nice shower and amenities. Would stay here again!

I studied lots of B&Bs and spent weeks reading various reviews. The
Relais Casa Della Fornarina exceeded our expectations. Large and quiet
room. Very clean. Vouchers for a full American breakfast which we
didn't get at any other B&B we stayed at. Walking distance to
everything in Trastevere. Just don't judge a book by it's cover
and how it looks from the outside. A+++ in my book.

The staff's attention to detail and service was impeccable. From the
moment we arrived we were greeted with coffee while we waited to be
checked in. The room was the cutest thing ever with a window overlooking
the streets of Rome (it felt like a movie). Breakfast was served on time
and there was so much to choose from. When it was time for us to check
out, the staff went out of their way to get us to the airport on time.
Three days after our stay we realized we forgot our IPad in the safety
box
