The welcome was very lovely and the owner was kind in making good recommendations for places to eat on two very rainy evenings.
The rooms with ceiling frescoes are high and very appealing.
The breakfasts were a refreshing surprise with salad plates presented along with cereal and fresh fruit.

We just stayed one night to catch early morning flight from Bergamo Airport. Location is perfect, 15 minutes drive to- from the Airport.
We stayed in the family room with beautiful Terace-Garden.
Even we left very early in the morning, the owner prepared some sandwiches for us as take away.
Sure will stay also next time.

Sympathetically renovated to retain old features with modern facilities, spotless, staff very helpful and friendly, excellent breakfast with homemade goodies and choice of English cooked or traditional Italian. We had a kitchenette with table and sofa and large, comfortable bed, mountain view over roofs from top floor room. 5 minute walk to modern city /airport bus.

The accommodation was perfectly located to explore the old town, and everything was very clean and comfortable when we arrived. There was breakfast available at any time, and the host gave us extremely helpful advice about places to visit, and helped us find train connections online. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay! -

Lorenzo the master is very nice and congenial.
The hotel is indeed an apartment in the old building in the centre of the city, almost in front of the walls of Citta Alta. Even cups, wardrobe and bureau are old and pretty.
The breakfast is usual for Italy and is served in the room.
The only disorder is a common bathroom, but it is clean and sanita

i stayed with my wife in this lovely guest house in bergamo city centre. the place was very clean and cosy and it is highly recommendable. the staff was very friendly and helpful, they explained us everything from where are the best restaurants to eat, how to get to the old city(and the old city cathedral is a must see) to how to get to the aeroporto. so it was an excellent experience.

Well positioned for Citta Alta, a great base to explore the lakes and other medieval cities of the area. Angelo picked us all up at the airport, very friendly and helpful and his English is better than he thinks!! Highly recommended, very comfortable though quite small. -

The apartment is perfect for a short stay in Bergamo. It is in a perfect location between cita Alta and cita bassa, both easily reach walking. You have everything you need in the apartment and it has nice furniture. Laura is wonderful and very helpful. If you need something she well try to find it for you. We travel idependently and La Castellan is really well situated for
both rail and airport transfers. Great value and has everything you
need ideal, if a littel old fashioned which is exactly what you would
expect in a 17 century building. For a weekend break. I would be happy
to return.
The owner is really friendly and veryhelpful and speaks good English.
