looking to help us with, for example, directions for days out of
Florence, booking train tickets to Rome and restaurant reservations. The
service in the restaurant was excellent and the serving of drinks and
aperitivo in the library was a nice touch..

Accoglienza molto cordiale, ambiente curato, raccolto e romantico, il quartiere di san nicolo' in cui e' situata la casa e' davvero delizioso. Peccato per la mancanza di ascensore che l'edificio d'epoca non consente, difetto che la bellezza di firenze fa dimenticare. Vista la "chicca" della colazione in camera suggerirei di darle un tono ancora piu' sfizioso e curato. Ritorneremo sicuramente!

The look of the Hotel is very Modern and very Chic, it has beautiful art and the location was fantastic right by all the main attractions. The breakfast was wonderful with both hot and cold items available and as much expresso, coffee or tea as you could want.

The staff we're nice and obliging. 24 hour reception and no curfew. The rooms were great and kept quite tidy. Bathrooms were kept very clean which was nice. Free wi-fi was awesome. If you want to spend your last day exploring- you can leave your bags at the hotel and pick them up later so you don't have to take them around with you all day. It is so quiet at night and cooler than Florence. Dinner on the terrazza overlooking Florence. The antique everything. What better than a stay in a Medici Villa for a visit to Florence! You can buy bus tickets right there and hike up to the road to catch a bus. Nice 20 min walk to Fiesole, or you can take the bus. Coffee on the Terrazza next to the Aurora Hotel in Fiesole is great too. There is no A/C but the large ceiling fan was sufficient. No TV, but who has time to watch tv with all the stu
