The apartment itself was suprisingly spacious and comfortable. Great location halfway between The Old City and the City Center in small quiet street and with charming patio.
Looking forward to visit this place again!

Excellent accommodation, close to the airport - ideal for catching an early morning flight. Very spacious, especially for the teenagers in the group who loved their mezzanine quarters. Would definitely return to this accommodation. -

Really good location between new and old cities, apartment clean, spacious and had everything we needed. There was loads to do every day and this was a great apartment for a family. A lovely warm welcome from Monica, who had also been very helpful prior to our arrival. A great location, being so close to citta Alta, walking distance. Apartment well laid out, comfortable and has everything you need. Bakery, pizza restaurant and lovely bar/café very close by. Use bus from airport or train station as stop just up the road!

We travelled as a group of four adults with one baby. The apartments at Porta Nuova were brilliant! The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated, with every attention to detail being made. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. This is a charming older hotel that may not have every modern amenity but is spotlessly clean. The location was perfect - very easy to get to the Alta Citta or the funivia for a trip to San Vittorio. The dinner that we ate at the restaurant was excellent with wonderful service. -

We travel idependently and La Castellan is really well situated for
both rail and airport transfers. Great value and has everything you
need ideal, if a littel old fashioned which is exactly what you would
expect in a 17 century building. For a weekend break. I would be happy
to return.
The owner is really friendly and veryhelpful and speaks good English.

Wonderful. Circular bed! It's more a serviced apartment than a hotel room. Frederico even picked us up from the Station. Easy walk to restaurants and the bus to the old upper town (but explore the lower town as well - some great cafes and restaurants where you don't feel you're being treated like a tourist.) -

Thomas. He is a great manager. Caring. Competent. Friendly. He arranged for us to print out our boarding passes and also organised for us a booked taxi for 6am Sunday morning to go to airport. The location is wonderful. The apartment is well appointed. Thomas also had milk in the fridge for us and croissants for our first breakfast. We are glad we stayed here and not city Alta. here we had the best of both cities
