  We had a wonderful nights stay at Casa Vacanze Laura. Laura was in contact with us soon after we made the booking to arrange a time for her to bring us the keys. On arrival we called her and she was with us within 5 mins with the keys for the apartment and the pass to park the car on the street for free which was brilliant. The living/kitchen is the perfect size for a couple, the kitchen has a two ring hob and there is a fridge which would mea - The apartment is perfect for a short stay in Bergamo. It is in a perfect location between cita Alta and cita bassa, both easily reach walking. You have everything you need in the apartment and it has nice furniture. Laura is wonderful and very helpful.   Excellent accommodation, close to the airport - ideal for catching an early morning flight. Very spacious, especially for the teenagers in the group who loved their mezzanine quarters.   Well positioned for Citta Alta, a great base to explore the lakes and other medieval cities of the area. Angelo picked us all up at the airport, very friendly and helpful and his English is better than he thinks!!   Lorenzo the master is very nice and congenial. The hotel is indeed an apartment in the old building in the centre of the city, almost in front of the walls of Citta Alta. Even cups, wardrobe and bureau are old and pretty. The breakfast is usual for Italy and is served in the room. I am likely to stay at Lorenzo's next time - i stayed with my wife in this lovely guest house in bergamo city centre. the place was very clean and cosy and it is highly recommendable. the staff was very friendly and helpful, they explained us everything from where are the best restaurants to eat, how to get to the old city(and the old city cathedral is a must see) to how to get to the aeroporto. so it was an excellent experience.

  We really enjoyed our stay in The World. I had booked what I thought was a room for 4, but it turned out to be a really well appointed apartment -great value for money. The location was really good - airport & train/bus stations are in close proximity, and also conveniently located from cable car station (for access to the Old Town). Great value and has everything you need ideal, if a littel old fashioned which is exactly what you would expect in a 17 century building. For a weekend break. I would be happy to return.
