I thought the staff were really good, when one of the porters made a mistake with my bill they corrected it. They could easily have not told me I had been overcharged. Also they lent me their personal UK - Italy adapter!! -

extremely clean and pleasing. very friendly staff (Vittorio made his out most to make us feel "at home"). the room was big and very clean and very well equipped. the breakfast was nice and the dining room very comfortable. we will highly recommend "hotel pavone", and certainly will like to stay there again. -

This is actually in Capronno (about 5km from Angera) in a beautiful old tiny village. This is an exceptional place - highly individual character & very comfortable. were matched by the owners warmth and hospitality. We had no problem
communicating even though she spoke very little English and we spoke

We booked two rooms, a double for my husband and me and a single for our adult son. We had the amazing view of the lake which was so serene and our son's window was filled with the imposing figure of San Carlo. Wonderful! The place was immaculately clean, the staff very friendly and waited up for us to arrive at 11pm. There was a good range available for breakfast and the dinner menu offered local cuisine, rabbit pie, fish from the lake etc. All with that amazing view.

Lovely view from our room, room was comfortable and of good quality. Family who have run the hotel for many years are friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was good, food delicious, but a bit expensive. Breakfast was excellent. -

All the staff who we encountered at the hotel were extremely helpful and courteous. Through all areas we received excellent customer care.
