  This B&B is very good. Great location just up from the quay but close to Westport town which is lovely. The hotel was very clean and well run and the breakfast excellent. The room was of a good size (plenty of room) and well equipped with tea & coffee making facilities and a small fridge in the room with bottles of water, chocolate etc. to... cosa dice la gente » purchase. It also housed the fresh milk which was brought to the room for tea / coffee making. There was an en suite bathroom with shower and sauna c - Family-run by people who really care about hospitality and made time to talk to guests. Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms and good bathrooms. Quiet and convenient location between Westport town centre and the harbour. Really tasty and generous 'full Irish' breakfast which really sets one up for the day. High comfort/value ratio - five people sharing two rooms cost under 300 euros total for two nights inc the excellent breakfasts.

  We spent a wonderful 2 nights at Hazelbrook. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, the amenities are great, the room was spacious and then there was John! John, the owner, is also the chef and he makes a great breakfast to your specifications, with the added bonus of spirited conversation and a song. Westport is a beautiful town to explore and the Hazelbrook is a lovely place to come home to after - John is the best, he was always there helping us out with our questions and everything, cooking the breakfast, singing (haha!), and he's very helpful, he told us he should have come to pick us at the bus stop! And the room was fantastic, everything was perfect, we slept great, there was also a kitchen we could use and loads of depliants in the room! Very clean! I'd like to come back there! We stayed just one night, too bad...

  Owner was lovely and could not have been nicer. She gave directions to pubs and restaurants we might like to visit, described what food and entertainment they had available, gave us local numbers for taxi's etc, advised us on parking/paid parking in the town, and when one of our group pulled out at the last minute only charged us for those that sh... cosa dice la gente » owed. She really was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Also the view of Clew Bay from the hotel was breath taking. So much so that another - The welcome we received was amazing, so friendly and warm! The owners were more than helpful and gave us advice on places to go out and taxi numbers. The breakfast the next day was tasty. Thanks so much!
