The location couldn't be better! We didn't know anything about the town when we arrived and found Elephant Guest House in short walking distance to nice restaurants, pubs with great music and of lovely little shops.
The owners were lovely. Burnie met us when we arrived and gave us a great rundown on what we could do and then husband Des cooked a lovely breakfast in the morning and guided us down to our next location. Great value for money!. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Des and Bernie are very warm, welcoming and so helpful. The decor was clean and modern (and what an amazing shower after a long day travelling!) They also accomodated needs such as gluten friendly requirements and were generous with breakfast portions. The beds were really comfortable and the room well lit.
The location is also excellent - right in the centre of town.
The Guesthouse is very conveniently located in Wesport, close to all shops, bars and pubs. the staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us some great local tips and ideas for some scenic drives.
The breakfast was amazing and fresh cooked to order. The rooms were small but had everything you needed with great new, stylish design. Very comfortable bed!.
Owner/Host and Host was helpful and nice. Room comfortable and very clean. Very nice shower and hand enough room. They have done a good job with use of space. We were in the back of the building and was very quite for a weekend. Perfect for walking around town shopping and eating. Safe intercity hotel with good locks and good fire excapes etc.
Everything about this guest house was first class. It as really clean and comfortable and the service was excellent. Situation irght in the town meant that the car could have a rest also! Recommendations for an excellent evening meal were absolutely correct and the walk to the harbour after dinner was great!.
Elephant house was deceiving from outside. Very small looking from
outside and non inviting however, owner/hostess was exceptionally
wonderful and helpful with sights to see. She even made us reservations
for dinner at a restaurant close by. Rooms were very clean, bed
comfortable and great breakfast!!!.
It was clean very close to everything great restaurants nearby went to sage which was fab great pubs closeby parking at the back of it and overall was a good experience for a b&b and a great freshly cooked breakfast and staff were very helpful.
The facilities were clean and comfortable but what really made it stand out was our hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. I would recommend The Elephant without hesitation. Great value and fantastic experience.
The rooms are modern and very clean. The shower was amazing and the breakfast was always lovely. One of the best B&B I have ever stayed in. Bernie and Des were lovely and looking forward to going back someday.
The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful, very eager to make our stay enjoyable and accommodate our wishes. Breakfast was very good. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable.

This is a lovely B&B in Westport. Clean and comfortable and an excellent breakfast. i note other reviews mention the rooms are small but the bed is large and comfortable.

Our room smelled of mold or something that was distracting. Room was
very small. We had room in front of building on main street and was up
all night with rif raf on street, garbage trucks, car racing, loud
people all night long.

letsbookhotel.com had not informed Elephant Guest House that we wanted one of our two rooms with two single beds. Yet this had been specified during the reservation process.

Smallest room I've ever stayed in. Smallest bathroom I've ever seen. I don't need much space, but these rooms are so small as to not be functional. Cannot bend over at bathroom sink without opening bathroom door. Shower has no dish for soap/shampoo, if something falls on shower floor, space is so tight, very difficult to bend to pick it up. I am a thin and flexible person! Innkeepers do not live at the guest house.
Twin room was TINY. Bathroom door didn't close. No where to plug in kettle other than on bed. Awful extraction fan goin in room from 6am. Couldn't sleep with noise. Very expensive. 85 euro!!.

had to request twin bed also told in advance i had a gluten free diet when i got breakfast it was all gluten nobody seemed to care no hot water in shower had to boil the kettle to shave it was our 36th annivarsary also told in advance didnot even get a happy annivarsary.
