An absolute gem of a place. Warm welcome, beautiful accommodation and perfect location. Would love to return to sample dinner in the gorgeous dining room as the breakfast was top class and served as graciously as could be possible. We felt like old friends from the first moment.

2) Next to the sea: it is 200 metres walk from the house down to the beach. There is a small gate at the bottom of the garden that brings you straight on to Kells Bay.
3) Gardens: these are exceptional on a national level, never mind an Iveragh or Kerry level. Even if - My wife and I moved to Kerry from Dublin last year, we have two boys and two dogs. We usually stay in Ireland for holidays. We booked into Kells Bay House in mid-July this year. Had not been to Kells previously. The gardens are fabulous, a real wonder and the kids loved it. The scenery is breath-taking there. The food and hospitality was top class. Felt very relaxed and welcomed there. The Dingle Bay suite really is great and can easily accommodate more than four. The guest accommodations were clean, tastefully decorated and spacious. We stayed in the family room and it was the perfect getaway. The children loved playing on the beach close by, sat in the living room and played chess and even threw the baseball in the front yard area. We would definatly stay again! -

The setting of the hotel, on a waterfall surrounded by nature, is wonderful and yet it is not far from Kenmare. It combines modernity with character very well. The staff are wonderfully friendly and well trained. The food is top class and we particularly enjoyed the splendid breakfast. Unbeatable for comfort and charm. Don't miss the falconry.

The attention to detail, the very friendly staff. Our room was beautifully appointed and spacious. The food was superb and beautifully presented. We have stayed in a number of 4 and 5 star hotels throughout Ireland but Sheen Falls Lodge would be number 1 on our list a really wonderful place to stay. We would highly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel, old manor style, staff extremely friendly. We had a beautiful suite, reception area, sitting room, bedroom, walk in wardrobe and bathroom. Old rooms but very comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was quite good, served in beautiful pottery and silverware.

The apartments were such a relaxing place to stay with our two little girls (1.5 years and 3.5 years). Little door stoppers were provided and the girls had a ball running from one room to the next. It was lovely to not have stairs.
The apartments have been newly carpeted since we were last here and it was great to stay in a place with a fresh carpet smell. They were spotless.
The staff were absolutely fabulous. Very pleasant and so used to dealing with young kids.
