We loved everything about the bed and breakfast. Family owning the place was lovely, helpful and welcoming, the room was incredibly clean, tidy and comfortable. Breakfast was huge and nice, had we stayed there longer, we would probably gain lots of weight because of huge portions we were getting!

I'm not afraid to say that Carnately Lodge is the best B&B house in Northern Ireland. The rooms are comfy, clean and very well designed. The breakfast was purely natural from local farms and so much tasty. Colette and Burt are the most welcoming people who took care of us since the first minute. Looking forward to see them again!!

This is the second time staying at this hotel and again, I didn't get the chance to use the Spa Facilities. This time my stay was only for 1 night as I was busy visiting Family. The Derrin was very convenient to both the Ferry and the downtown area. Immaculately clean and a great owner/staff. We were very pleased with the accommodations and the pricing is very good. Most importantly, we would return for another visit should the need arise to visit Larne and use the ferry services. It would definitely be our first choice!

We were a late booking, but the proprietor was still more than willing to work with us and arrange for an early breakfast the following morning. The location is ideal for anyone wishing to take the ferry over to Scotland and is conveniently close to the port.
