  I travelled from Finland with friends to the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel in July 2013. We had a wonderful stay with a very comfortable and extremely spacious room. Our friends were upgraded to a superior executive suite which was a nice surprise and we also received a big discount on parking.   Very clean and modern B&B. Super friendly staff. Nice room and yummy breakfast. Highly recommend if you'll be staying around Kilkenny. It's not really within walking distance to City Center but they have a phone in the entrance area to easily call a cab (cost is about 10 Euro to get to the castle right near the town).   The staff were so nice and pleasant. Great atmosphere in the pub in which we stayed over. Breakfast is the nicest in Kilkenny town and is included in the room which is even better.   Really friendly staff! Pretty good location, it is out of the way of things, but Kilkenny is small so it's easy to walk to the shops, castle etc. You can meet some great people here, the atmosphere is really easy going. - Great feel and environment, would definitely be staying here again if I came back to Kilkenny
