Lovely friendly staff who greeted us each time and were really helpful and chatty. It had a family feel which was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and a full cooked breakfast was included in the room rate, not just a continental. The room was very comfortable and clean. Stayed 1 night so that we would have an early start on our drive around the Ring of Kerry. Lansdowne was the perfect hotel for our brief stay. The staff was very friendly and even though there was no elevator, the staff was more than helpful in carrying very heavy bags up the beautiful staircase. I would definitely recommend to anyone that they stay at this fine hotel.

After quite a long journey from Galway, we received a lovely, warm welcome from our hostess. The view from The Waterside was absolutely beautiful (even in the rain!!!) and our bedroom and en suite were lovely. Breakfast was a choice from a range of food, which was great.

What a wonderful place! absolutely perfect if you want to escape city life and forget all problems! Rooms are spotless, spacious, renovated, quiet, we got a beautiful view on the river. Very friendly stuff and nice breakfast in the morning. Def. good value for money!

Stayed in a self catering holiday home, the house had everything you could need in it, it was perfect for us and the 3 kids. the kids had their own rooms, which they loved! and there was even a sofa bed downstairs for an extra friend.The pool was great for the kids, and staff really friendly. kenmare itself is a great spot, lovely pubs, restaurants

The Lodges were excellent, very well kitted to a high spec. Loved the touch of the fire log left for guests plus the tea/coffee/milk - very welcoming. - New and excellent place to stay. One of the best Guest Houses we have been to. The owner Rose Marie was a genuine lovely person and made us feel so welcome. Annie the lady who looked after the breakfast was so friendly and nothing was any bother to her. Very good selection for breakfast. Would stay here again. Really handy to the town. We had a great time. -

The host, Pat, is a gentleman who was most obliging and helpful.
Breakfast was excellent.
Bed and room were extremely comfortable. I had a great night's sleep - much better than reported by friends who stayed in a renowned hotel nearby!

Great location - if you know the shortcut and walk briskly, you're within 5 mins of the centre of Kenmare.
Kenmare Bay and Brook Lane Hotels are just around the corner.

The owners were so gracious and friendly. The atmosphere is warm and homey. It was very nice to have a community sitting room as we were 2 couples traveling together. Wi-Fi was very good. And the bathroom was very roomy, ultra clean, and bright and sunny. we enjoyed sitting outside on a nice patio in the evening as well. the town was quaint and had great food.
