The hotel was fabulous, everything was clean and the staff were veryfriendly and helpful. Taxi's were available within minutes (receptionordered them for us and they arrived right outside the door) and it wasonly a short spin into the city centre. - The reception staff were so courteous and helpful, I could not fault anything about the hotel, well

Eileen and Michael were welcoming from the first moment we walked through the door. Eileen made afternoon tea for us . The breakfasts were superb. Our host Eileen was a real gem - she made sure we had everything we needed and even offered to drop us off in the city (not sure if this is usual or not!). She supplied us with a full buffet breakfast in a beautiful dining room overlooking a garden, a lovely way to start the day.
Blackrock is not right in the centre of Cork but the city is easily accessible by car (10 mins drive) or by bus - there is a bus stop right outside the accommodation.

We stayed there as my friends were celebrating their wedding there onthe saturday. The staff could not have been more courteous and helpful.The food served at the wedding reception was outstanding - 5 star foodand service. Arriving and leaving the staff were very very friendly kind and helpfull. Appartment was very clean with plenty of room with kitchen well supplied, we didnt here any noise from any other appartments any night as the hotel/app' was full at the time.
We will be back. -
