The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed my stay. The location was also perfect.very welcoming lady whom Imet first.wonderful breakfast. unexpected upgrade to apartment, breakfast selction. Friendly staff very helpful good parking very close to city. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The suit was very spacious and clean with a lovely view. The breakfast was very good. Staing at the Killarney Guest House was really better than at some of the 3 stars hotels that we have been before.Location (right opposite UCC and a short walk to the city centre), free parking, warm welcome, useful suggestions from Mrs O'Leary in response to specific shopping requests; wide range of offerings for breakfast. Friendly, helpful, efficient staff. The room was good and large and, although I didn't book it, it was aself catering room. Staff were very pleasent and the breakfast was good. Great place to stay. Great central location and the staff are helpfuland very friendly.Good sized apartments, close to Cork city centre. Very good staff and very kind welcoming.Staff is very friendly, breakfast was lovely. Room is comfortable, noposh, but it´s ok. It´s 15 minutes walking from city center. The breakfast was very good. the staff was veery helpful with all requests. The man working the front desk was great. We were surprised that we were not actually staying in the Killarney Guest House. The owner of the guest house owns the 3 buildings next to each other. We had rooms in 2 of the buildings. As we attending our son's graduation at UCC the questhouse was most convenient. friendliness of the staff. Location, friendly staff. Welcome and breakfast very good. Breakfast. Bathroom water temperature was erratic - sometimes the hot water water was exceedingly hot and the cold water was also hot (this happened twice - in two different rooms - and we overheard another guest mentioning the same). Phone in one of our rooms didn't seem to work - not critical but a nuisance. Trouble connecting to the wifi with my laptop but another member of our party had no problem. There are in fact two separate buildings and there was no wireless inone of them. The shower pressure wasn't great...mayvbe they neeed to install a coupleof pumps...although I was at the very top of the house. The tv was abitcrap with no sound and half the features listed in the room leaflet notavailable like the dvd player and iPod dock. The shower system is not the best and the rooms can be a bit cold.Well, this is Ireland, it´s expensive, but if you compare to other bandbthis one is fair enough. The bathroom was small. The hotel was comfortable, there were no problems with it at all. Unfortunately, I had to leave a day earlier than expected, due to ill health of my partner and that was not reimbursable. The bathroom in the family room was very tiny. Difficult to move around in it. i thought it was a little expensive for the quality of the rooms but these were clean and comfortable. Perhaps a bit pricey for BandB. Tiny WC/shwr. Noise from other guests during night. Very expensive compared to other b and b's booked on spec during our break. There was an odour in the room that I stayed in which gave the impression of poor hygiene, however surfaces and textiles did appear to be well cleaned.. Room too small and no Irish staff.
