  Jane, the hostess, is wonderful and helpful. The food is lovely. Our needs were met, but there was never a sense of intrusion on our privacy. Our son loved playing with Jane's two small, very friendly and well mannered dogs. Heather Lodge has a spectacular view. - Everything about Heather Lodge was fantastic. Jane, the owner, and her family are just incredible people. The lodge was simply great and the best experience was that checking in and out was based on trust. Of course breakfast was wonderful and the view of the lake from our family room a bonus. We will be happy to return the someday when we visit again.

  We liked the location - very close to Clifden but far away enough for some peace and tranquility. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Our only regret was that as we were in Clifden for a concert we didnt have time to have dinner in the restaurant - it looked superb!
