  The hotel has an old world charm to it and at the same time it is well equipped with modern amenities. We were upgraded from a garden view room to the Ghorpade suite which was great.   The staff were really great - nothing was too much trouble. Food in restaurant was excellent, both breakfast & evening meals. First night we phoned down to say the wifi signal was very weak, and in minutes the porter was up with a wifi booster for the room. Signal was excellent after that. Fort Cochin is a quite locality and this property is ,as mentioned earlier, quite and relaxing. Smiling receptionists, helpful staff, good and spacious rooms. They made my stay in Cochin memorable. I thank Sanitha, Melvin and Christina for their hospitality and special thanks to Francis who is behind all of these.

  We recently visited Kerala and stayed for 2 days at the Abad Pepper House. We were pleasantly surprised upon arriving. This hotel is really good value for money. Unfortunately there was a strike on one of the days, but we were still treated as royalty even though the hotel was short staffed. This is a hideaway, and not the easiest to find, but centrally located at Fort Cochin. The building is immaculate; manager is superb; beds are comfortable; it is an island of comfort in the midst of the delightful chaos of India, and the FOrt Cochin area is unique and surrounded by water and it is a very good experience to visit.
