  My husband and I were totally impressed with the Agamemnon Hotel. It must be one of the BEST hotels in Nafplio for sure. The hotel is situated on the waterfront promenade, so no traffic noise at all! The room and bathroom were quite large for European standards. There are dozens of restaurants on the pro - Perfect location, nice staff and vivid town. We could enjoy the view to the small island from the balcony. Also the parking was not a problem even if the access to the hotel is limited due to the pedestrian zone starting in front of the hotel. There are many friendly and cosy bars on the seafront. In the evening the old center is great, many restaurants and shops and many turists. We could enjoy the Greek hospitality everywhere. The hotel is 5 minutes from Areopolis by car where one can shop, eat, walk in the traditional village. The hotel has lovely verandas and one can sit outside, as well as effective airconditioning if it is too hot outside. We had an appartment with a vert well wquiped kitchen. The owner was very helpful with information about the area.

  The location of the hotel is charming in the middle of olive trees and is situated in a quiet spot. The buildings are rather new.   This is simply the best hotel we stayed in our two months of traveling through Europe.   We stayed in the family room which had two separate room. The breakfast was very good, and there was plenty of street parking. - This hotel has all necessary amenities. Sparta is not a nice city, but Dioscouri appears to be in one of the nicer sections.
