helpful since Thessaloniki was the start of our 17-day trip (via car)

Excellent position on the harbour. The breakfast and the dinner on the beach were amazing. I'd recommend Avra Hotel to everyone who wants relax and to enjoy beautiful beaches, especially to people who leave for romantc journey. I also recommend to have dinner at the restaurant just at the corner with the hotel. You'll taste delicious food.

Clean sheets and towels, changed every couple of days.
Decent food.
And FREE FRUITS every day!
Bungalows have a nice terrace with a garden view where we enjoyed having our own breakfast (there was also a fridge in the room).

Location was great right next to the sea. The staff is fantastic, ready to help with anything customers need. Breakfast is very good and there is a choice of things to eat right by the sea. The rooms are comfortable, there are mosquito screens and our room had a sea view which was great. There is also a restaurant in the hotel offering a choice of things to eat and sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach where you can order anything you like.

The hotel was great and the team -- both management and front-line staffers – with emotional intelligence were there present.
The staff quietly made us feel comfortable and important.

Very good and nicely designed hotel with many interesting details. Good and free spa center that requires appointment. Amazing food - fusion cuisine. 100 m close to the sea, but the beach is not superb though very decent. Thera are couple of fireplaces in the lobby and the feeling was magic.
Wi-Fi worked perfectly, no problem to park and I really injoyed winter spa wekend in this hotel.
Outside of the hotel with sweeming pools is also nice but not interesting in this time of the year.

Only a few feet from the beach, lovely location. Breakfast excellent, lots of choice. Staff all very helpful, especially the lovely English lady and the other lady on reception. The staff were friendly, the breakfast descent (but noting special) the hotel has a nice pool, comfortable beds and is in close proximity to the airport. Great place to stay if you want to spend a day before/after going to the airport, or even longer if you just want to relax by the pool.
