  We spent two full weeks in this hotel. After many years of experience with Greek tourism (and all its drawbacks) I must say that hospitality and efficiency of Philoxenia’s staff is amazing. We were treated like in real 5 star hotel. Even special wishes were fulfilled gladly and immediately! The newly renovated, always tidy clean room with an excellent and quiet air condition. Delicious favorable breakfast if desired. Very good Wi-Fi receipt even on the room and free of charge!   It is in a street 100 mt away from the city centre of Kos town,10 min steps to the ferry departures (you are just in front of the turistic port). We stayed one night only but regret not to stay more for that price and the position.   The owners of the hotel made you most welcome. Location brilliant, 1 minute to the beach. Hotel pool clean and no reservations early for loungers. Breakfast very nice, croissants, jam, cereal, ham, cheese, tomato, tea, coffee, juice. Bedroom cleaned every day. Great value for money. La posizione è buona (dista circa 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di skala). Nel complesso il giudizio sull'hotel è sicuramente positivo.

  My sister-in-law and myself were met at the airport by a very friendly Mike who drove us to his apartments pointing out places of interest on the way and stopping for us to take a 'photo. Nothing was too much trouble for Mike or his mum who made us a lovely breakfast each morning and was pleasant to talk to. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
