We particularly loved the food which was delicious for breakfast and dinnerthe three nights we stayed, everything freshly prepared with homemade jams, bread etc. and vegetables and herbs from the gardens. Our room was very comfortable with the facility to make coffee and watch the mountains, so relaxing! It is perfect place to walk, eat and relax. Zaros just a two minute drive away if you need supermarket or bank.

... cosa dice la gente » excellent, but the real difference is Thomais. - I liked the room which was big and bright, I could easily prepare my own dish as the cooker, coffee maker, kettle were provided or go to the tavern which was just across the street. the landlady was very helpful, kind and she even baked for us traditional cakes with cheese!! we had fresh flowers every day too.I stayed for 3 days and truly enjoyed it.

Makry Gialos is a very nice small town and the road network around is very good so day trips with a rental car are very easy.

The place to be ! The biggest asset of ville de soleil is the owner Costas, he is super friendly, helpfull and his service is above any level I have ever seen before. He called us the day before to ask if we needed assistance to get there, I arrived with a broken gearbox, he started calling around and my car was fixed a few hours later, he has shown us areas to visit we would never have found ourselves, we had a couple of nice evening discussions and drinks... Eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Familie, die versucht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Die Häuser sind sehr luxuriös und sehr schön. Es ist ruhig und nur wenige Minuten zu Fuss zum Strand. Auch das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren frisch und sehr reichhaltig. Ich kann Prinos Resort sehr empfehlen.

This is the place to stay at Sougia. Big comfortable room, ultra clean is what we needed for a 2 days stay to hike down the gorges. Hotel owner Markos did more than the expected making all arrangements for our hiking trip which is much appreciated and definitely something most people need when going to hike in the surrounding gorges of Samaria and Agia Irini.

We stayed at the Happy Cretan for three nights and the only bad thing I have to say is that we didn't have more time there. The hotel setting was absolutely gorgeous! The rooms were fresh and clean along with being eco-friendly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, the menu for the evening meal was fantastic and was prepared by a fantastic chef...we were never disappointed by what was served. We loved Lenikos, it was far enough away from the town to be quiet and peaceful but close enough to be able to pop in for dinner and a drink in the evening. Beaches are 5 mins drive away. relaxing, and a pleasant pool. Perhaps the best accommodation we have
had in Greece, after several years of visiting. Car is essential,
although Galini was within easy access. Would certainly return here.
